  1. I'm taking NCC in a tight one, Weyer will be too much for Dunbar: NCC 68 Dunbar 65
  2. This is why they should wait til after the state tournament to determine Mr. Kentucky Basketball... Ben Weyer making a statement to the state that he is legit. Congrats to Trinity on a great season and good luck to NCC the rest of the way.
  3. I've been watching Carson play since he was playing point guard for his middle school teams and dominating I might add. He's been a dominant player since he first stepped on the court. He's been getting serious Varsity minutes for Owen County since 7th grade. He's a freak of nature if you ask me. Happy that he's going to Norse country next season, Brannen is really shaping that program into a high caliber school. I'd like to see NKU sneak into the tournament once over the course of Carson's career.
  4. This is probably the best 4 year stretch in NCC school history. It's been a great run for those guys. The guys who didn't get to Rupp (McDonald, Schulte, T. Moeves, Pangallo, G. Moeves) really helped pave the way for the team to get over the hump this year. It was only a matter of time. There has been a lot of talent on the hill and I'm glad to see NewCath representing the 9th at the best show in basketball. Happy for Ben Weyer, Luke Moeves, and Brennan Hall. Great hardworking and bright kids.
  5. Very impressed with CJ Frederick so far. Expect a big half from Weyer, couldn't really get into a groove this half because of foul trouble.
  6. Great win for the Breds. Love the energy and effort they brought tonight. Adam Kunkel is TOUGH. Moeves and Weyer played great on both ends of the floor. Favorite play of the game was when Hendrix drove to what looked like a wide open lay up and Weyer comes out of no where and swats it off the backboard, another cooper player gets the rebound and Weyer swats his shot attempt into the stands. Overall great energy on the hill tonight. Hard for opposing teams to come in and win on new caths floor. Cooper didn't play their best, but could set up for a great game at BB&T on a neutral floor.
  7. I see Weyer and Moeves having big games tonight. New cath has to play inside out to utilize Weyer's mismatches and then kick it out to open shooters. Defensively, I don't see anyone stopping S. McNeil tonight. He'll have at least 20+. Cooper is a lot stronger defensively. Will be a fast paced and fun game to watch. NCC 67 Cooper 62
  8. Shocked that a lot of people chose Campbell to win. You should never doubt a team coached by Scott Ruthsatz. He's completely changed the culture of this Cov Cath program. They have another legit shot to win back to back state titles.
  9. Brenden has had a great career. He is a class act and comes from a great family. I've been watching him since the middle school AAU days when he played for the NKY Wolfpack. Congrats Brenden and all of your accomplishments.
