  1. The High Priest Questions Jesus John 18: 19-24 19 Meanwhile, the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching. 20 “I have spoken openly to the world,” Jesus replied. “I always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I said nothing in secret. 21 Why question me? Ask those who heard me. Surely they know what I said.” 22 When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face. “Is this the way you answer the high priest?” he demanded. 23 “If I said something wrong,” Jesus replied, “testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me?” 24 Then Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.
  2. You are incorrect. The Holy Spirit is working inside of these individuals; therefore, they knew it to be a sin.
  3. Guess you would consider yourself one of the righteous ones, mcpapa, along with SportsGuy and others.
  4. It doesn't matter what I believe is a sin. It only matter what God believes is a sin.
  5. Jesus was tempted by Satan. Why would I believe that he wouldn't tempt me, too?
  6. You have me confused with the moderator from post 26 who left the topic. The Woody Allen quote was post 11 of that thread and it was followed by the answer in post 12. Sorry that you missed that.
