  1. Since the diploma reads Madison Central, I have to ride them till the wheels fall off. Give me the Indians in a close one! 35-32.
  2. Watched him closely against Madison Central Friday. Playing tackle this year will hurt his value on film. He is truly an interior lineman and doesn't possess the arm length to extend further than that. Very strong kid with a good punch when he hits you. Good prospect with a lot of potential. As he matures would like to see him develop a 4 quarter motor and play lower to utilize his leverage against taller players.
  3. Great Hire.. as an alumni of Madison Central's program and having familiarity with Boyle County growing up, one thing Coach Smith will do that others have lacked is unify the programs leading up to Varsity Football. Middle School to Pop Warner will be ran as feeder programs with similar principles instead of pay/participation leagues. I think this is crucial in building a dominant football program. Richmond is rarely void of decent talent; just needed the right individual to put the pieces together.
  4. Congrats Dominique. As a MCHS alum I have my chest puffed out today. Best of luck and keep working hard!!
  5. Son of Bear- Will Matt Kettler be video broadcasting it on his website??
  6. Cue the Wa Wa-Cal was just there to try the square pizza at Madison Central jargon.
  7. Every good team needs a point guard that turns the ball over 8 times in a sweet 16 game. Bolden has the talent to be great but he does have a tendancy to over dribble and try to create too much out of nothing; hence, the turnovers. Dominique operated within the offense the whole tournament until Coach Feldhaus cut the reins and let him drive-kick or drive-shoot. Thats why UK is interest cause they run a dribble drive offense that requires a PG to get to the basket and make a smart decision with the ball... not turn it over.
  8. Richmond is hopping right now. Gene Parks is doing the dougie on Main St.
  9. Still dancing in Richmond. Great game by both teams. Hawkins and Bolden impressed.
  10. Hawkins guarded Cunningham (Henry Clay)in the region game and handled him. He is just as athletic with the ball as Bolden. Bosley is the X factor IMO.
  11. Bolden is quick but I think Dominique's strength may be too much. Bolden over dribble's from my first observation of him.
  12. One that hasn't been mentioned is from Christian Co. run in 2011. The Lexington Catholic game on Friday. Catholic had them down 11 at halftime and what Hickey did in the second half of that game was amazing. Looked like a one man lay up line.
  13. Per the Khsaa site, Prewitt is at 23 and 8. Hawkins is at 20 and 5. No assist stats listed for either. I think the 10th region being down this year will hurt Omar and the result of the only meeting between the two this year. I'm going with Dominique Hawkins.
  14. Watched Dominique several times and as an alum want him to do well on the next level. I think he fits well at either UL or UK. Both coaches want a physical point guard that can play good defense and have a variety of shots inside of 15 feet. Hes also capable of playing above the rim. Being a UK fan I want him at UK so the 40475 can get that same fever we had when Marquis was there. Cal needs to look at this as an opportunity to have a guy that by the time hes a junior-senior he would be starting on 70-80% of college basketball teams those years. Suit him up Cal!!
  15. Which region will the refs be from?
