  1. Yeah but nowadays they just get injunctions.
  2. 30 basketball games to 10 football games. Most of the basketball games are played on a weeknight. When I was in school, everyone came to our games. I think specialization has hurt attendance. Coaches put teams against each other.
  3. This doesn't make any sense because I would not call St X or Trinity a sleeping giant. First year coaches don't get jobs like those. I would call schools like Tates Creek and Hopkins County Central sleeping giants. I'd take either one of those schools as a first year coach and expect to do well after a few years.
  4. From what I understand, Trey has to improve his test scores to get qualified. Hargrave is known to make this happen. I say a great move by Trey!
  5. From Villa Madonna? If so, it could be a help but I'm not sure how much.
  6. The answer is yes the residents are paying the bill for a winning basketball team. I would think that proving the parents didn't set up their "permanent residence" in Cordias district would be good easy enough to prove.
  7. Listerman will do good things at Highlands. Would like to know how both teams played.
  8. Any word on Carr? Is he at another school?
  9. Tyler Bray to Lloyd from Ryle was a pretty good transfer. I consider Mike Hester and Nate Edmondson to Simon significant. Biggest one over the last few years...Sidney Moss to Boone. I know it's girls but because of her, the Moss boys will be there as well.
  10. Look in Stinkboys comment it says they can't find someone "willing" to scrimmage. That implies teams are afraid.
  11. Mcclendons address better have changed otherwise he won't be eligible. You have to physically make a move or in the case of private to public show a drastic decline in family income. I am guessing he will be eligible but if he just gets a new address, I'd be all over that of I was Holy Cross. Players need to suck it up and stop this transfer nonsense. If players transferred every time they had a disagreement with coach or principal, every player would leave.
  12. Not as of right now. In the middle of getting my masters and don't know if I have time to really commit. He has a few candidates: 1) GC grad and excellent player 2) former player if his at Ryle 3) Assistant coach in Louisville I don't want to give names until he finalizes them. I think he'll have a good staff maybe not complete until August though.
  13. He wouldn't. Good player but I really don't think he is an elite player. Has disappeared at times in games. Hopefully I'm wrong. Good kid.
