  1. Unless Ryle changes some of their offensive issues, it will be a long game for them. They also need to learn how to stop the pass.
  2. The JV team at Ryle just beat Campbell County. The play calling on the Ryle JV team is a heck of alot better then the play calling at the varisty level. It has to be two different coaches. After the first half Ryle went back to their old ways of the non-effective run and no pass. I saw more passes this morning by the Ryle JV team than I have seen all year at the varsity level. There are several players on the JV that can help the varsity team, why not move them up? The play calling is stagnate on the varisty team...no pass and hand off left and hand off right.
  3. Davis intercepted. With 3:24 left in the fourth Now?
  4. Ashley is a senior. The play calling is absurd.
  5. Ryle play calling is horrible. Hand off left. They can not throw the ball. Hand off Right... Now is it time for a change
  6. That is bush league....Old school thinking on Conner's part...Their games are all over iHigh. I even think I saw the entire game on the Ryle website. It is not the normal broadcast video but the entire game is on there...
  7. The game is at CC. I have seen Morgan play, he will do well. When I say, "Is it time for a change?". I am speaking of coaching.
  8. Campbell County runs the same type of offense that Conner runs. Hate to say it but unless Ryle figures out how to stope Tyler Durham, it will be a long night. Is it time for a change in Union?
  9. This game was not even close. Where is this offense on Friday night? Straight why is this offense so different?
  10. My thougts on the game. Ryle got lucky on a couple of plays. The interception was thrown right to the Ryle linebacker and he did a good job catching it and taking it into the endzone. As for the ball that bounced off of the WR helmet and into the hands of the other Ryle WR was lucky. LUCK IS GOOD. The Ryle defense could not not stop Barker. Barker did a good job with the read option and when he kept it, Ryle could not stop him. Barker ran right up the middle. Whomever had resposibilty to cover the QB on the option play did not do their job. The Ryle offense was.....well....typical Ryle offense. Hand it left, hand it right and hope the RB breaks through the hole. There does not appear to be much strategy, does not appear that they are calling plays to set up other plays....They have not true speed on offense.....As for running on the field through a tunnel? How is that even a topic of conversation.....why waste key strokes on something so meaningless.....I am not sure that any plyers on either team is intimated. This is high school football...intimated?...If you don't believe me ask them....really?
  11. Ryle did change their offense from the spread to more of an I-formation. For the Henry Clay game and the Colerain game they tried to go up the middle instead of spreading it out. It was not a balanced approach. Against SK they tried a combination of sets, none of which worked effectively. Most of the passing plays should have been timing routes and the QB held the ball WAY TOO LONG (That is no knock on Nathan Davis, so before the bashing posts come out towards me I am only stating what has already been proven.) for the play to be successful. Instead of throwing it to the receiver, he tucked the ball and ran. He did not give his receiver a chance to make a play on the ball. The offensive line blocked and held their man but the QB has to get the pass off. Even if his receiver is covered, throw the ball and let your receiver go get the ball; instead the QB tucked the ball and ran or took a sack. He had time to complete the pass. Is this their only QB? I would rather see him at FB or TB. At this rate, it is going to be a long year for Ryle. I am in agreement with Hellbird. Where is the speed that they spoke about at the begining of the season? Where is the QB that played at Dixie last year? Ryle's O Line is huge....is this coaching or playing?
