  1. I am so glad to see that somebody noticed a kid for more then shooting 20 or 30 times a game! Congratulations to him.
  2. I will definitely say congrats to SK. As a matter of fact I told two of their coaches congratulations after the game. I would say more, but I'll leave it at that or I'll get myself in trouble.
  3. Darius Miller is my kind of player. Wish he played for the Bucks but oh well. Still an outstanding player that doesn't get much love on the college level.
  4. That kid doesn't get any love? I'm shocked. I'm glad I started this thread!!!! Nice to see some film.
  5. Names? This thread is meant to recognize them. Thanks.
  6. This thread is doing exactly what I had hoped. We're seeing some names that, I for one, haven't heard before. Keep it going, these kids deserve it.
  7. I heard an interesting observation the other day. A teacher told Andrew Hurley that "you know, you are Grant County's Darius Miller. You go out night after night and lay it on the line. You bump and bang, scrap for loose balls, rebound against bigger opponents.....in other words.....you do the dirty work without all the accolades. You should be proud of yourself." I thought to myself, there has to be 100's of kids that do the same thing. So this thread is for you. Lets hear about some kids out there that do the same thing but maybe don't get recognized much. This isn't for the kid who scores all the time, this is for the kid(s) who makes it possible for someone else to score all the time. This is your thread to shine.
  8. Completely wide open. Should be fun to watch though.
  9. What I think is truly interesting about this thread or nearly any other thread on BGP's is that people see things completely differently depending on which side you're on. A couple commonalities throughout this thread I think are: 1) Coleman was a beast on the glass. 2) Grant was the tougher team (at least in this meeting). Other then that I would say everything is up for debate. But based on my view I would say that CincySportsFan is pretty accurate. (We must have been sitting in the same part of the gym). Whichever side you were on, you have to admit, it was a good competitive game to watch. WV has a very strong program and rest assured....they'll be back next year....with a chip on their shoulders. Could be fun to watch for years to come. Good luck Braves the rest of the way.
  10. Pure entertainment in this thread! Wow....I must not have a life.
  11. Maybe not a dominate force, but they did beat a good Owen County team which many predict to be a regional contender and took Simon Kenton to the wire. So with that and the fact that I just couldn't help myself......I had to post it.
  12. Sweet! You sound a little Sour! Just kidding.....thought I'd throw a little humor on the fire!
  13. Well said. Hats off to you Scrapper. When you lose to a team 3 times in one year but win the only one that matters, it makes for a very jubilant crowd.
