Elam is visiting Ohio State today.

I mainly only look at the 247 Sports composite rankings. It takes several sites and and basically averages the players ranking. So far UK has only three players with a rating of 90 or higher and 6 with an 88 rating or higher. Compare that to last years 15th ranked class and Clemson had 10 players with a 90 or above rating and 17 with an 88 or higher rating. Signing Elam would be a big help. He made a huge jump to #10 overall player in the 247 Rankings. This is a good UK class and has potential to get better but they have a ways to go before its a top 15 national class come signing day, in my opinion.

4 Star rating is awesome but in order to have a top 15 class nationally you need to have double digit 4/5 star players. UK could have that when its all said and done. Once again, I think Stoops is doing an excellent job and is creating a much needed excitement for the football program. I was'nt trying to rain on anyone's parade!

I agree, but the classes are ranked based on the player's star rating. If they are able to sign 4 or 5 more recruits with a 4 /5 star rating than they could be a top 15 class. We can debate more about it in February. There is a long way to go before signing day!

I'm glad your optomistic but just don't see this class as a top 10 to 15 class. Of the 17 commitments only five are rated as 4star recruits. They are ranked high now because they have 17 commitments. We shall see come February.

No doubt Stoops is doing an excellent job so far. This class may not be a top 25 class come signing day but Stoops is knocking down some doors and appears to be heading in the right direction.

They were regular season Champions of the Big Ten Leaders Division. They had a post season ban, not a regular season ban.

I think it is pretty obvious now that Barker is way farther down OSU's recruiting board than most Buckeye fans thought. There are a lot of Buckeye fans that wanted Barker to get an offer but since he still has not been offered the OSU staff must like the other QB's better. Best of luck to Drew!

OSU has now also offered Brandon Harris. Looks like the ship has offically sailed for the Barker offer.

I would say your odds are pretty good but if you look at things objectively and do not acknowledge OSU as a National Title threat this year and in years to come, you are just kidding yourself.

Yeah, I would say ole Urban is real scared of Kentucky!! For what its worth, pretty much every team in the country is replacing starters on both sides of the ball and that is where recruiting comes in to play. OSU has had back to back top 5 classes so there is plenty of talent to work with. They will out score teams this year and there defense will be just fine!

Where will OSU be on his list if they do offer? That is the question.
