  2. Well, like I said, he just scheduled a game with Iroquois for tomorrow night to make up for tonight's cancellation. And Iroquois is no pushover. Szabo is not like that, he is not afraid of a fight and his philosophy is to play the best and be battle-tested come tourney time.
  3. The Trinity/Eastern game tonight has been cancelled. Because Eastern already has a game scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday) night, Trinity has scheduled a game with Iroquouis instead, at Trinity.
  4. Look for the 2004 Sweet 16 team to be honored at halftime and Josh Sewell will be honored for becoming the all-time leading scorer in school history. Previous record holder Lee Morrison '91 will be presenting the game ball to Sewell from the Seneca game in which he took the top spot.
  5. Ballard, Trinity, and Seneca are also in the same District.
  6. Here's ten of our top 20 players rankings...do you agree? 1. Josh Sewell- G/F - Trinity - Senior (Miami OH Signee) 2. Ricardo Johnson- F- Holmes - Senior (Ohio Signee) 3. Ge'Lawn Guyn - G - Scott County - Senior 4. Elisha Justice - G - Shelby Valley - Senior (UofL Walk-On) 5. Elijah Pittman - F - Holmes - Senior 6. Chane Behanan - F - Bowling Green - Junior 7. Thomas Jackson - G - Jeffersontown - Senior 8. Chad Jackson - G - Scott County - Senior 9. Vinny Zollo - F/C - Clark County - Junior 10. Donovan Gibbs - F - Iroquois - Senior (IUPUI Signee)
  7. Just wanted to let everyone know we are currently doing a "Mid-Season Report" at the Bluegrass Hoops Report. So far we've done interviews with J'town coach Jeff Morrow, Lindsey Wilson College coach Paul Peck, and we posted our Fab 15 team rankings and Top 20 players rankings. By the end of the week we will have interviews posted with Shelby Valley's Elisha Justice, Franklin County's Vance Hall, and a few other top coaches and players. There will also be some more features on local NAIA schools. Who else would you like to see us do a Q&A with?
  8. It'll be tough for Trinity to beat them again. I worry that the Rocks are peaking way too early. You want to be playing your best basketball once the Districts start, and whoever does that out of Trinity, J'town, Eastern, and Ballard will likely win the 7th Region.
  9. With their recent Louisville Invitational Tournament title, Trinity and Josh Sewell have made history winning the "big 3" regular season tournaments held in Kentucky, with the senior forward Sewell winning the MVP award of all three. They beat Ballard, Eastern, and J'town in 2 days to win the LIT and look to me like the most complete team in the state. Who do you think deserves the top spot? Is Trinity better than Scott County, Holmes, and the other top teams outside of Louisville?
  10. Didn't mean to leave them out. They would definitely be in my top 10 above a lot of those guys. I did that list off the top of my head, they just got lost in the shuffle somehow.
  11. Great stat to show the power of Rocks' defense: Tyrell Means had awesome first half leading all scorers with 16. He scored 0 in the second half and overtime. Pretty impressive. This Trinity team is for real.
