10 Good
  1. Boone will beat Conner and Campbell with no trouble. Cooper will be closer this year but Bradley can't run against a solid defense, which Boone will have this year with so much experience on defense coming back. Dixie and Scott County will be good games. SK is a long shot. I don't know how good Anderson is this year but last year their entire offense was seniors. Highlands, Clay, and Ryle are losses. With good on the field leadership, Boone can make a comeback after an upsetting season last year.
  2. It's not as convenient as driving 15 minutes to a nearby high school, dropping them off and then going back 90 minutes later to pick them up. Last year there were very few students at the games.
  3. I agree. Less students attend the games because if your kid can't drive, NKU is too far for parents to drop their kids off and then go pick them up. I think only the final game should be played there, the others should be played at the schools.
  4. Alford was still playing defense at that point, so he was still in the game.
  5. Boone has had some very embarrising games but they can play if they want to. I don't know if you remember their first win over Lafayette, who beat Henry Clay, who beat SK. Elliot is good but not even close to the talent of Simpson, West, Slater(Anderson), and pretty much anyone on Highlands. If Ryle plays to their full potential they'll come away with a win, but if they make too many mistakes Boone will sieze the opportunity.
  6. I don't know what your reasoning is on this one. Quainoo is faster, stronger, quicker, and more experienced. He is a back that led the state in the season last year, who is young enough to be a juinor (He was born on the cutoff date for grade levels). Boone is there own opponent this week. If they come into the game like they can just go through the motions, than Cooper has a tiny chance. Boone by 30
  7. Quainoo was hurt and was used only when needed, but Connor's D did step it up. Boone's D was pathetic. I've never seen a Boone County defense miss so many tackles. They are small and young, but they need to learn how to bring their feet. It's a fundamental that should of been taught in pee-wee. Connor is a good team this year but Boone made their whole team look all-state.
  8. I can almost guarantee Quainoo is faster, stronger, and more agile than Simpson, he just lacks size. He also, sadly, is not very committed to the sport. But I heard he was hurt and didn't practice all week? This would be a huge loss for Boone. Connor's O-line needs work so if Boone's D-line can penetrate and contain West than Boone's DB's will handle Connor's recievers. Campbell County and Connor both play spread offenses and Boone's defense did a good job last week. I predict a very emotional game for both teams.
  9. With that remaining schedule it won't help them if he's back or not. They have a shot versus Campbell and Newport
  10. Quainoo runs just as hard as Simpson. If Boone's defense can stop a pass based offense like last week, Boone will win. Boone 28 Connor 14
  11. The field was a mess and throwing only posed a risk for a turnover. Why pass when you can get it done on the ground?
  12. Sorry this is a year old but this just bothered me. His parents are from Ghana and they moved to NYC, and that's where he was born.:ylsuper:
  13. Highland's Dale Mueller at the top. Boone County's I'd say is next(the whole staff). Someone told me that all of the coaching staff went and played for Boone. Can't wait for the game this week.
