  1. I believe Cohorn is playing this year. He got alot of time in back in June during the weekday games while juggling football camps and combines on the weekends. He is a strong defender and shows deep range when shooting the 3 ball. He could possibly be the fifth starter.
  2. Wow. Tough call. Everyone of these players make such a big impact on their respective teams. There's probably five more players or so not even mentioned. Pick one.
  3. Pike had his best passing game of the year so far. Against a pretty darn good secondary. I think someone needs to check his stats on here. Or pick up a newspaper
  4. I agree. Dixie's defense has turned it up since the second half of the Ryle game. They pitched a shutout in that one in the second half. And the defense didn't play bad against Highlands either. Take away the 3 plays-The interception return and fumble on offense and the kick return on special teams and that game could have went the other way. The special teams played really good last night for Dixie also. Hopefully they can keep it going. In my opinion Leonard definately got the better of Peterson playing corner on him. Peterson did a pretty good job on Cohorn. He still got his catches but he definately had to work a little harder to get open. Jensen was able to run with much of that because his recievers were covered. He's a good QB. Definately doesn't get the attention he deserves
  5. I believe the better of the two "Bruns" running backs is still at Dixie. The last time I checked the stats anyhow.
  6. No Thanks. Even though they do still up the street from SK
  7. You're sadly mistaken if you think Cohorn, Leonard, and Bruns are out of shape. We'll see how the db's at Conner handle Cohorn and Leonard. Those two are tough to cover and bring down after the catch. By the way, those three are in excellent shape.
  8. He doesn't have the height to be a D1 qb. IMO. Chad is a good athelete and would be a great fit for a D2 os D3 school.
  9. I'm hearing Dixie will have Cohorn back this week at reciever and linebacker. If so that's huge for them. They definately could have used him last week against NCC.
  10. Pike and Lawrence both looked pretty good considering they were throwing in the rain. Dixie scored 6 to Simon's 5. Dixie stopped Simon inside the 10 on the last play. Dixie was without Menkhaus and DeMatteo on offense and defense. Not to say that Simon was had everyone there either. Both Pike and Lawrence threw a pick each. For dixie Leonard, Cohorn, Bruns, Riddle, and either Cohorn or Leonard had the other TD's. I know Riley and Krueman had 3 or 4 TD's between them. Either team could have ended up on top. Dixie has Beechwood tomorrow at Dixie, don't know who Simon has. Good luck to both QB's and both teams the rest of the year.
  11. Should be interesting to see how much that actually happens.
  12. I know you're definately not refering to his recievers. Cohorn, Leonard, and DeMatteo are studs. All three have excellent hands and Cohorn has been getting alot of exposure as of late. Heard that him and Elliot from Ryle had a good day at EKU this past Saturday. I heard that Cohorn ran a 4.68 forty couple weeks ago down at UK, and Leonard a 4.66.
