  1. Would you put Wright in Brian Brohm’s category? Question A Who threw for 3,720 yards and 33 touchdowns during senior season, completing 298-of-463 passes? He won Mr. Kentucky Football, started for the east squad in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, won the Paul Hornung Award and Gatorade Player of the Year for being the best player in the state in 2003. Question B Who threw for 3, 820 yards and 42 touchdowns during senior season completing 181-of- 279 passes? A. Brian Brohm B. Patrick Towles
  2. Not doubting you VOR, I just didn't see his name on any of the rosters. http://www.usarmyallamericanbowl.com/list_e_rosters.php http://www.usarmyallamericanbowl.com/list_w_rosters.php
  3. Jude is exceptional. The Highlands "D" right now is better than exceptional.
  4. Many memories tonight! Great offensive line play by the Birds. Coach Turner is "The Man".
  5. One thing for sure. He won't gain enough to put his team over the top. As a Highlands supporter that's all I care about.
  6. We are all hiding. That's why we have these usernames. I doubt your birth certificate says Sports101.
  7. I agree with Clyde. Anxious to see what the Covington Catholic Defense does against this team. 56-35 Cov. Cath.
  8. Highlands was in a similar situation earlier this year with Boyle County. At the end of the game Highlands was taking a knee when they had a boat load of time to score. Boyle County down three touchdowns or so had some timeout(s) left and possibly could have gotten the ball back for maybe one more play. They elected not to call the timeout(s) and Highlands continued to take the knee. Had Boyle called a timeout Highlands scores a touchdown. I applaud Boyle's coach for making the right decision.
  9. There is a huge disparity in the programs in my opinion. Highlands is on a whole different level. I have no problem with the onside kick, however when you do it, you do it at your own peril.
  10. "I Coach Miller taught Patrick Towles everything he knows.":D
  11. Wow. Towles and company I believe are done.
  12. He's certainly making the Elite 11's list now. Elite 11 Tracker: Five QBs top 300 yards http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/football/post/_/id/714/elite-11-tracker-five-qbs-top-300-yards For the first time this year two of the Elite 11 quarterbacks faced one another. In a much anticipated game in Kentucky, Patrick Towles and Highlands (Fort Thomas, Kent.) got the best of Zeke Pike and Dixie Heights (Fort Mitchell, Kent.) with to a 61-13 rout. Elite 11 Tracker: Mangum and Towles first to 1,000 yards http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/football/post/_/id/1183/elite-11-tracker-mangum-and-towles-first-to-a-1000-passing-yards Elite 11 Tracker: Huge Games by Brewer, Burcham, Kelly, Robinette and Towles http://espn.go.com/blog/high-school/football/post/_/id/1412/elite-11-tracker-huge-games-by-brewer-burcham-kelly-robinette-and-towles
