I have not seen Frankfort play this season but if Dayton comes out to play like they did this past friday night this could be a very interesting game. If Frankforts defense is looking pale, then I think this could be a close one! If Dayton can get there running game going early and Sherlock has time to look around the field Dayton wins this one! Frankfort is 9 and 1 coming into the first round of the playoffs and Dayton is coming off there best game of there rough season! How will this one play out?

Justin Sherlock qb/db 5'9 150 lbs Senior from Dayton high school was 10 for 17 passing for 240 yards and 3 passing touchdown. He also rushed for 91 yards with 2 rushing touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball he picked off 2 passes as a cornerback. They beat Carroll County 50 to 20 He is over 1000 yards passing this season with 13 touchdowns.

Dayton might not be having the season they have hoped for, but with it being senior night I think Sherlock has a big night at least 200 yards through the air for 3 td's and at least 100 yards rushing if needed. Dayton 42 Carroll 14

I have heard that Newport is installing a new defense, for the scrambling ability of Dayton's quarterback! Has Newport not seen a scrambling qb this season?

well Dayton is returning 4 to 5 starters with 7 or 8 juniors who are all very talented. I heard that they are stepping in their roles very well helping with leadership. And senior forward Devin Sparks is showing a very good attitude for being the only senior. Shawn Eastin Tyler Lovell and Cody Turner are also showing they can lead a team. Dayton should be looking forward to a very productive season this year. Look for them at the top of their confrence this year.

Everyone is for getting daytons decent year last year with some big wins over calvary, villa, and bellvue... They are returning 4 or 5 possible starters that can put big numbers up... Starting with eastin who could lead northern ky this year in scoring if he keeps his head on all year... Then massey who started to put things togethier at the end of the year and should be at the top all season... Loosing 3 year starting pg chris young could hurt but replacing him is a talented pg cody turner who can throw some numbers up... Then Tyler lovell who started all season and played his role and came threw shutting down all the main players from other schools... Another starter who started on and off games is devin sparks who will be the only senior but be looking for him to be in the numbers... they also have decent role players like simons, bowdan, rogg, lewellan.... Dayton is very young but dont put them out of the running for 1st or 2nd they are a talented team... And tom dilts is expecting big things out of them this season... So be listining for their name alot this season...
