  1. '96 Cats Best college basketball team ever.
  2. The word "run" is synonymous with the word "streak" in the context of the message that I quoted. I don't think Russell was streaking wins at any point this season. Do I need to define streak or are you ok on that one Wireman?
  3. Run? :lol:Winning in the first round of the district to go on to lose in the district championship game and more than likely lose in the first round of the region, wouldn't exactly be considered a "nice run".:thumb::sssh:
  4. I voted for Russell.... I'll take Coach Kidwell's luck he's had so far in the postseason over Elliott County's play.
  5. Palms, did you watch an NBA game last night?
  6. Agreed, what ballot should Rick Mays be on?
  7. I think that it is fair to say that both teams played equally last night and had an equal fan support. With that being said, the only other determinant factor was the referees. There was a stat posted earlier about the freethrow situation, which was a heavily lopsided proportion, 27-10 favoring Elliott Co. (Not to mention that 2 of the 10 for East came from an assessed technical foul). So basically you can reduce that to 27:8, which is more than 3:1. I thought one ref was #1 rated in the region and another did a lot of college basketball games? Surely, he doesn't call those games like that...
  8. East Carter could not win that game tonight. The officials weren't about to let the #2 team in the state get beat out in the first round of the districts.
  9. Congratulations to Elliott Co. I thought East had their number tonight, but unfortunately for the Raider, Elliott had two teams playing for them. BTW the other team I am referring to had 3 players wearing striped shirts and one is supposedly rated #1 in the region?? Terrible officiated game.
