  1. Could be a good year for the Lady Demons Wilhoite(sp) and West hold just about every record there and have been playing together forever. Mark does an outstanding job with them.
  2. If the Bearcat guard play keeps on improving as it has, they will be a very tough team to handle in March. If they choose to do so they can go with a very big line up. Should be a very interesting year in the 32nd District and 8th Region.
  3. It will be a tough test for the Pioneers as it is when any KY schools venture across the creek to play with the big boys in Ohio. At least they have the guts to do so. This game will prepare them for the post season.
  4. Oh and if you don't believe me here are SK's returning starters: Parker Deters Austin Baldwin Bo Lockard Danny Williams Zack Hagar Sage Powell Trey Pinkleton Zach Carrol I know my Simon Kenton math isn't great but that is 8.
  5. Laugh and mock all you want but SK does return 8 starters on D. Tri-State Sports must have miss quoted Coach Marksberry.(Imagine that a blog getting something wrong) SK's Defense will be their strength throughout the entire year. Their only losses on Defense were Picarillo, Brown, and Kaiser.(All 3 are playing their college ball at Campbellsville.) Miles and Jordan Hansel did not start and only spot played on defense. Baldwin and Lockard will be a load at linebacker. So mock if you will.
  6. Rumor is Corey Highfield resigned at Ludlow. He has Ties to the community in Gallatin County I believe. Could he be the NKY guys coach??
  7. OkOK Enough!! May be UK36 is a little excited about SK but really like there aren't any of your fellow Birds or Raiders that aren't a little over exuberent? On paper Ryle is the team to beat in 6A. I totally agree with that assessment but, many had Conner, Boone and Ryle ahead of SK this time last year. That is why they play the games. I agree with NeerFan I wouldn't trade Chad for anyone in NKY or the State for that matter, the kid is just a winner. If the line gels the Ryle/SK game will be a dandy.
  8. As a collective group the bunch from SK is very solid. They do not have one superstar at reciever which means it will be hard to defend them all. And yes we will play with 5 linemen and yes if we could figure a way for Lawerence to throw himself the ball and block for himself we would. By the way Lawerence and Simpson took turns driving the bus to games alst year.
  9. Great news!!! I too am happy he won't be under center for the Cougars next season. Best of luck and go 'Cats.
  10. You cannot blame the officials period. You as a team, by not playing up to your potential or blowing a lead or a turnover here and there put the game in their hands to "blow it" for you. Look in the mirror, it is not their fault. I have all ways told the kids if you put it in someone else's hands it is your own fault.
  11. What's that old saying " people in glass houses shouldn't........" No matter what they had a tremendous year and should be the odds on favorite next year to win the 9th. Crittenden is the best I have seen in quite some time. Best of luck in 2010-2011.
  12. Anyone have any insight on 7th Region officiating?? Just curious since that is who will be officiating the tournament.
  13. A true Bellevue icon, prayers and condolences from the Pioneer fotball family.
  14. Although Miles is a very team oriented player, he took into account how many running backs were being signed/had all ready commited to the schools he was considering. Needless to say I think he wants to play back in the SEC. By the way in the Semi-final game last year Justin Green couldn't catch him and he (if I am correct) was the defending 100m champion and is a RB at Illinois.
