Congrats St X. from the Greenwood Gators!!

I am surprised that our administration didnt have the banner taken down. Trust me, us Greenwood people have nothing but respect for St X. That was our students making a joke.

I can tell you that play was a heart breaker. The refs made a mistake and they knew it. They are human and mistakes happen. Great atmosphere for the game and I am extremely proud of the Gators. St X is a great team with a big time defense> Things got a little chippy on both sides after that play, but I think the game ended with pure class on both sides. Good luck to the Tigers next week and I know this game will only help our once struggling program in the future.

How many pancakes can petett eat?

The main reason I ask is that us Greenwood people need to know whether or not we need to bring in portable bleachers for the visitor section. Our little section holds maybe a couple of hundred. We want to do everything in our power to be good hosts.

Question for the St. X followers: how many folks do you see making the trip to Bowling Green this Friday?

Trust me, no one from Greenwood had anything to do with ranking us ahead of St. X. You guys are awesome and have a first class program. We know that we have a monumental task ahead of us. St. X folks have a safe trip and we look forward to seeing you at the Swamp on Friday. Question: how may fans would you guys think will make the trip?

It won't be large enough to seat a third of the ST X fans.

Wow- Monroe has now won 18 of their last 20. I dont know for sure, but I would guess that this is the greatest run in the history of the school. I hope the fans of Monroe realize what is taking place and do not become selfish. I am hearing some scuttlebutt that there are still unhappy fans over: questioning coaching decisions,playing time of their children, etc. Questioning this coaching staff during the run they are having is nothing short of idiotic. Coach Petett was not named Kentucky co-coach of the year for nothing last year. You Monroe fans better hope he stays for a long time.

I was on the field after the game to congratulate my old friend John Petett. I don't coach or live in Monroe County so you can say I don't have a dog in the fight. I saw nothing on the field that made me think it had been watered down! Where does this come from??

I am shocked that Monroe Co. continues to get disrespected. I say the Falcons win this one by 2 tds.
