  1. I feel sorry for this team for many reasons but the coaching situation is sad, I can't remember a time when Henry County only had 3 coaches. Over the past 10 years there have been many good assistant coaches at Henry County why can't they get any now is it the new coach, administration or the schedule?
  2. Digital Scouts has a good software Henry County kept stats last year coach did it from his iPhone and after the game he was able to send a PDF of the stats to paper, news and coaches.
  3. I am a parent of a two sport kid and will tell you that my child loves both sports he plays with football being one. However, he is in that school to get an education and that is the priority that our family will focus on. Baseball and basketball are not like football only playing on Friday nights there are weeks that they play EVERY night and are not getting home from the games until 11 by the time they come home and do homework they aren't getting to bed until 1 or 2 o'clock and then a coach wants them there at 6 to lift weights he has lost his mind. I'm all about winning but where is the child going to suffer? In the classroom. We once had a coach that told us that he was glad that our child played two sports because it gave him time to work more with some of the players that needed the extra help and he knew that on the days they weren't lifting and conditioning that he wasn't home sitting in front of the TV.
  4. That's probably the first time I have heard about the strength of Henry's schedule normally it is about how weak of a schedule Henry plays.
  5. Henry County Wildcats travel down 71 to visit South Oldham Dragons on Friday. What is everyone's opinion on this one? South Oldham coming off a big victory in OT and Henry County coming off a tough loss.
  6. Dennis Ledford is the type of coach I want coaching my kid whether he is an assistant or head coach; two times he has applied for the head coach position both times poistion given to another coach and yet he stays at Henry County. That can only mean one thing that he is genuinely there because he loves the game and the kids who he coaches. Coach Johnson fans please do not take this the wrong way because I know he is a genuine coach as well. Just saying it shows with Ledford coming from Frankfort everyday to be we these kids after all this! Good Luck Wildcats ready to get this season started!
  7. Heard Zach Rahm #46 signed at the school yesterday to play at Kentucky Wesleyan. Good luck Zach I really enjoyed watching you at Henry County hope to catch a game in Owensboro to see you play.
  8. Henry County played Western Hills a month ago lets move on. These boys have became a TEAM with determination and that showed Friday night against E-town if that TEAM comes out this Friday night against Central there is NO doubt in my mind that they can beat Central.
  9. Henry County Chet Ervin played for University of Cincinnati graduated in 2002
  10. How many of Henry County punts were inside the 20?
  11. If my memory serves me correct Butler and the nose were not diagnosed until after the Hills game and the broken shoulder was being treated as a stinger. Butler and the nose looked good against North Friday just hope both of them play well and injury free against WH.
  12. Any word on the two Owen County players that were taken to the hospital?
  13. Nice article only one mistake Henry played South Oldham last week not North.
  14. Not only did the competition get tougher but the "team" was dealt with a tougher situation to handle. According to post on here and their local paper they lost most of their starting defense to major injuries. I don't think any knowledgeable fan saw this many injuries coming. I just hope that those kids are able to recover from the injuries and able to continue play whether it be on this Henry County team or if the seniors choose to go on to play at a higher level.
