Has a highschool football team ever had 3 or more linebackers make the All-State team? I honestly believe Boyle's Defence could produce up to as many as 4 All-State selections from the Defensive side of the ball.

I'm very biased about my Rebels, but I would have to put thier starting four linebackers up against any in the state. All four are returning starters from a team that only allowed 6.7 points a game last year.:ylsuper:

What Boyle may lack in size in the offensive line they make up for it a little bit with thier skilled possitions. Dawson 6-3 240 TE/FB , Cook 5'10 205 RB, Hester 6'2 210 utility player, Ferrel 5'11 205 TE/Slot Receiver. And then big ol Jarrod Harrington 5'5 135 at wide receiver But all in all this is a very tight nit group of boys that has played football togeather all the way up through grade school. I look for them to carry on the momentum from last year and have a very succesful year.

I've been hearing great things about off-season workouts and how much stronger the boys are this year compared to the past couple of years.

But is this a good or bad thing?....

Agreed. Everyone will be very suprised with all the talent returning. Boyle County will be a power running football team next year. All 3 running backs will be over 200 pounds, in Dawson, Cook and Dunn. And again Defense will be the reason Boyle is succesful.

We will see about that. Boyle has alot of very good talent returning. And also, no, reese was not the team. Last time I checked the Defence only allowed around 7.6 points a game last year(Best in state). They also have 7 starters returning from that Defence this year, and if you add in Will Dunn to the mix who will likely be playing safety. Thats 8 out of the 11 starters returning on Defence. Thats just my thoughts as to why Boyle County will repeat.

Yeah gotta do that. Guess I'll have to cough up another 15.00 dollars, which I'll gladly do, since we now have 6.:thumb::thumb:
