New Cath has always been some what decent, this is Schumate's second year and he had the Beechwood Tigers in the regional tournament out of one of the hardest districts in the state!! Also Beechwood is a division three school.

Shumate hands down. He beat the big schools while coaching at Beechwood. Thats impressive knocking off the likes of Conner, Highlands, Cov Cath, and Ashland in the AIT. :dancingpa

Maile and Isler should have been the representatives from the ninth region.

The first no hitter was against Newport Catholic and the second no hitter was last Friday against Holmes on senior night.

Brian Romes is an outstanding basketball player. He works incredibly hard in the off season to be a unbelievable competitor. I know Mount St. Joes coach has to be extremely happy on getting such a high caliber player. He does it all and occasionally throws down a nasty dunk. Congrats to Brian and his family.:clap:
