This is high school. Whether it is Warfield or Leffew, an extra year should never be granted. Those were both abuses of the system. What happened to Mitch was heartbreaking, but Mitch is much better served by going on and starting the next phase of his life.

I was reading a Memphis message board and a memphis fan expressed concern that they would become like UC. It got me thinking about how similar the rise and possibly the fall of both teams resemble each other. - Both teams had proud histories but were stuggling up until they hired a program elevating coach. - Both coaches had final for runs and amazing regular season records (in similar weak conferences). - Because of circumstances around their exit both programexperienced exceptional and unimaginable harm in trying to pick up the pieces and carry on. UC has still not recovered. Memphis is in much better shape and position to carry on.:idunno:

Would Highands really hire a head coach with no experience as a head coach?

Was he really just honorable mention all state? How did that happen?

Unless he has improved dramatically in the last year, there is no way he can play at that level.

NKY football has to be as bad as we have seen it in quite some time. I am not sure the numbers would bear out what I just said, but I believe firmly that NKY is way down this year in terms of quality.
