  1. I never said the won the game for them. I said they took the chance for a come back away.
  2. If you were at this game then you know it was a very competitive game. Scott County all the way out of the hole from the first quater to cut it to four, then a technical was called on Hick in which they hit both free throws then hit a three. This put them up 9 mid way three the fourth quater. Scott County were frustrated by the refs and knew the game was over so said what was on thier mind. No way was this game a blow out. The refs did take the chance of a come back out Scott Countys hand.
  3. No you don't. Only one team makes it out of each region. Also you could be like Mason Co. with all the power house regions on one side of the bracket. They will most likely only play one team in the top 10 and that will be in the finals. This is if they make it to the finals.
  4. Ill go with the 11th region tourney. They have three of the top 4 teams in the state which two of them will not make it to state. There is always atleast three or four blow outs in the first round and some in the second round. In region tournaments the atmosphere is much more intense because all the kids know eachother and live around eachother.
  5. Scott County has been ranked in the top 4 all year. after losing thier best player. Over acheiver has got to be dunbar and under acheivers is Pineville, Tates Creek, Henry Clay.
  6. Adams started off shaky the first couple plays and then handled the ball very well. I would like to know his assist number for the game. SC as a team has to take better care of the ball as they get very careless turnovers. Jordan Lee has to hit easy shots and take the double and triple teams off Phares.
  7. Since switching to a three guard line-up breaking the press has not been a problem. Portwood is def. the dead eye shooter of the team but I believe Adams can shoot the three fairly well along with burchfield.
  8. I'll take SC by 8 because its at home. This will be the third number one ranked team they have taken down this year.
  9. Lexington Catholic goes to Georgetown to take on the Cardinals of Scott County on the Cardinals Senior night. Not sure how many teams in history have beat three number 1 teams in one season but the cards could pull this feat off with a win against Catholic. Any Predictions?
  10. I doubt G-lawn is thinking like this. He wants win, Hes not worried about his own personal accomplishments against his ex-team.
  11. The three guard line up seems to be the solution to there problems of breaking the press. They are also playing much harder on defense. They will need all of this to beat the upcoming games of Bryan Station and Lexington Catholic!
  12. Starting as a freshman on a average team, and he was going to start as a sophmore on a good team in henry clay...it doesnt make since to come to Scott county to get more shots, when they have much more talent. Also by his Junior year he wouldve been the goto guy on Henry clay with them losing boyd and moses.
