  1. Ford also said on ESPN 2'S First Take that he would bet his job that Travis Ford would be the next UK coach. He secretly might be out of a job and is just putting the blame on Coach Cal. :sssh::clap:
  2. 14th: Alan Hatcher- with all his accomplishments, its hard not to put this guy at number one. Al Holland- multiple regional titles and his teams always compete in the region. However, he has been the coach at the region's largest school (but now may be second largest to LCC), so it will be interesting to see how he does at Hazard. Kyle Lively- led Jackson City to its best year ever, and had a very successful year at Powell County before losing to the eventual regional champs, JBS. He also has two Coach of the Year awards in just two years of coaching, pretty impressive. Gary Stepp- has turned June Buchanan who was always at the bottom of the region into a very competitive team. They won the region last year, went to the semi-finals the year before, and are the favorite this year. John Noble- has turned Buckhorn completely around. They have been very competitive the last few years, and should compete again this year.
  3. Must of been an exciting game. I'm glad to here Davidson was a key player in this game after having a dissapointing season. Is the Charles that you mentioned the kid from Lee County? I watched him a few times during the season and was very impressed.
  4. I had heard he was waiting to see if any D1 offers came up, but now I think he is going to sign with Pikeville.
  5. Wow, talk about adding fuel to the fire. One can only imagine what the games will be like when these two teams play this upcoming season.
  6. Glad to see Billy G working hard. I would love to see Miller come to UK.
  7. Congrats to Coach Lively. He is a class act and well deserving of this award.
  8. It wasn't the best called game, but JBS just played great and Breathitt played their worst game of the season. At one time JBS was up by as much as 30+. I think the district loss might have helped the Crusaders quite a bit. I think Stepp had around 25 and Cox was close to 20 as well. The younger Stepp also had around 15 or so and was the real reason why the Crusaders was able to pull away in the first half. Even though they lost, the Bobcats still had a great year. From just winning four games to having the year like they did this year, it says a lot about the coaches and the players.
  9. Congrats to the Bobcats. Should be a dandy between them and the winner of the JBS/Powell game.
  10. I think it might be Steve if I'm not mistaken. You are right though, there are two Evans on the team, but I think this one is their starting point guard.
  11. Romans-Powell Clark Stepp and Cox-JBS Hollan and Smith-Breathitt Evans-Wolfe Congelton-Owsley Blank and Gay-Buckhorn Hicks-Hazard Mosley and Stamper-KCC
