  1. Bell is in for more of game than most expect .Great rivarly Hilton pulls this win out for the bobcats late in the fourth . Bell 28 Rock 20 !!!!!!
  2. I attended this one and was surprised by the outcome. PC's offense was better than I originally thought. In my defense, maybe the Rock was looking ahead to the Bell game a little too soon, IMO. With the score 41 to 26 in the fourth quarter (in the Rock's favor), the Rock had some starters pulled off the field. They were #63, #5, #20, #33, and a few more. This is when the momentum changed. PC was getting all of the breaks and all of the questionable calls were in their favor. The Rock just couldn't stop the momentum. It was great football atmosphere. I defiantly got my moneys worth at this one, though it wasn't hardly as exciting as the UK - Louisville game. I think that PC and the Rock are both terrific teams, that will do good in district play. I look forward to seeing both teams in the playoffs. *If I could pick them all, I would move to Vegas!!!
  3. Boyle County scored 42 points against the Rock. The Pulaski Co. team is not even in the same league as Boyle. I have watched the Rock play twice this year, and I don't see anyone scoring 42 points on their defense the rest of this season. The Rock has 11 defensive players that "all" look for a hard hit! Pulaski won't be in this one... Rockcastle 24 Pulaski 7 This is the "Unite Bowl", should be a good crowd, I plan to attend this one!
  4. Bell 28 Whitley 14 This serious still belongs to Bell .
  5. I had to make this game! Boyle County is as good as advertised. Their fans are very confident with good reason. I also think, that the Rock is better than preseason rankings, after watching this game. I have a few more teams that I would like to watch this year, but I am making the prediction that Boyle County and the Rock will meet again deep in the playoffs. I think that Boyle will win all of their regular season games. I think that the Rock will go undefeated with one exception, the Bell County away game. I am not ready to predict that game yet. As for now, I think that it will be a good game to see.
  6. Boyle County is the superior team in this matchup. The thing that may make it interesting though, is that Rockcastle's defense coaches had an extra week to prepare. They won't go down without a fight. Saylor's defense should slow Boyle down, but the Rock's offense may never get rolling. 24-7 Boyle.
  7. How did the Rockcastle QB and WR look at the Union Passing Tourney?? Are any standing out with some promise for 2009 season??
  8. This is my take: 1) West Jessamine is the team to beat in the region. They have the best point guard in the region. They proved the 12th region was stronger than what everybody in the state gave it credit to be with their run in the sweet sixteen. Jarrod Polson (Sr) is the best point guard and maybe player in the region. 2) Wayne County has all those Juniors returning who have played varsity ball, for what seems like forever. Gavin Dunagan (Jr) (6'4") is the best power forward/big man in the region. The Hopper twins are great hustle players. 3) McCreary Central has too many rumors on who will play next season or I would probably have them tied for the #1 spot. Aaron Watts (Sr)(6'3") is the best athlete in the region and best all around player. Roark (Sr) is a nice player also. 4) Rockcastle should win the 48th District championship again next year and make the semi-finals in the region tournament after an early exit last year. They have one of their top scorers returning in sharp shooting guard Jamie Todd (Sr), who is dangerous from the three point line. They also have two good rebounders returning with Derrik Thacker (Sr)(6'6") and Bullens(Sr). 5) Danville gets my 5 spot because they are very athletic. Good scorer in Jacob Taylor. They have plenty of speed and very solid junior class. That will be enough to get them back in the region tournament. 6) Lincoln County shouldn't be ranked this high, but with the programs recent success in this region you can't count them out. Great Coaching! 7) Somerset and Mercer
  9. Is this the rocks hardest schedule ever ???
  10. I think that the Rock will improve on what they done last season. They should make a deeper run in the playoffs. They have one of the hardest working coaching staffs in the state of Kentucky. They have a very talented senior group along with some great juniors also. They have a few key spots that need to be filled, I know that they have the athletes to fill them. I think the Rock will right there competing with Bell for the district championship. This will be an exciting season at the Rock!!!
  11. Thanks. But, I'll have to stick with the Rock, because I am a big football fan. Those three juniors mentioned are also football players.
