  1. Guys, calm down and win with dignity. You won, no point in trying to stir the pot. I'm glad JBS won, made the trip worthwhile, but c'mon, let's act like adults here. I agree Tate Cox was definately one of the best players on the floor last night. That young man is very talented and gets overlooked. It will be a very interesting matchup between JBS and Hazard as both like to rely on the outside game... and Hicks and Cox both can shoot the lights out. Can't wait for Friday.
  2. I think Tate has earned his chops these past three or four games and has even out played Stepp. Especially tonight.
  3. So far you are two for two ... How about sharing some insight with a poor old fella and givin' me some lottery numbers... or at least a Derby pick. :thumb:
  4. Wow. Rock on JBS, I thought Estill had JBS beat, but Estill's coach didn't seem to want to change up his defense and permitted a run and gun kind of game that benefits the great three point shooters of JBS. Congrats Crusaders. Curious as to why Estill didn't utilize Dixon more?
  5. Wow .... Gilbert was a little selfish tonight with the ball. Wolfe started out poorly and never really improved. I thought this would have been a little closer, but ... IMO the score is closer than the game actually was. I'm shocked at Wolfe.
  6. I disagree, but that's what forums are about. While I don't mean to knock Robert in anyway, he's a great kid, I don't think he is the "best" the fourteenth has to offer, but obviously I wasn't on a selection comittee.
  7. If JBS can keep Stepp in the game they can make this one a close one. Stepp just does't seem to contribute when he has an off shooting night. The couple of games I've seen him play, if he gets shut down, he doesn't seem to offer more than scoring. Cox is a great ball player and a leader; but I think Estill's team of Berryman, Christopher, Dixon and company will eventually carry the day. Christopher is really impressive and as the Professor said in another thread.. Dixon will be the best player on the floor that night hands down.
  8. Wow... I'm a little disappointed to see that Tyler Rich was left out. How was the selections made?
  9. Coach Wright has definately matured and grown as a coach. C'mon cut the man some slack mountainman... who of us was perfect at our first job out of college? ha ha - I'm just joking around. Watching Coach Wright makes me feel ancient ... perhaps wisdom comes with my old age *L* I doubt it. Great post though and analysis Mountainman. Anyway, back on topic... I think Leslie will have the edge in this one. They are definately heavily favored amongst the basketball fans I know.
  10. I think it will be a close game with Hazard getting the edge.
  11. JBS by double digits... in the third. Looks like they've wrapped this up.
  12. 18 -14 in the second quarter, stepp has one foul, KCC seems to be having trouble with JBS awesome defense.
