    VanMeter is going to shut it down for a few days due to a lingering leg issue. That may pave the way for DD to end up on the roster depending on what the issue is.

    Suarez will be in the lineup as a DH Friday for sure, and possibly as soon as Thursday.

    First cut of the spring. RHP Tejay Antone, RHP David Carpenter, RHP Ryan Hendrix, LHP Nick Lodolo, RHP Tony Santillan, LHP Josh Smith, C Chris Okey, IF Jonathan India, IF Blake Trahan, OF Stuart Fairchild, OF Boog Powell, all reassigned to minor league camp.

    Today the Reds optioned Tyler Stephenson and Jose De Leon to minor leagues. Spring Training camp at 48 players.

    Opening Day pushed back until at least mid-May.

    MLB delays opening day to mid-May at earliest due to virus

    If they end up with something like a 120 game schedule...there could be a lot more teams still in contention at the end.
