  1. I think we are on the same page. I don't want to hear anyone boast about getting the vaccine or not getting the vaccine. With that said, if someone wants to boast (no matter what "side" they are on) I may give them some attention too as the devil's advocate.

  3. https://www.masseyratings.com/hsf/ky/ratings Preseason ratings are typically derived as a weighted average of previous years' final ratings. As the current season progresses, their effect gets damped out completely. The only purpose preseason ratings serve is to provide a reasonable starting point for the computer. Mathematically, they guarantee a unique solution to the equations early in the season when not enough data is available yet. 1. Trinity 2. St. Xavier 3. Male 4. Bowling Green 5. 6. I just listened to a news report that said the percentage of Americans fully vaccinated is 47%. That would not include Americans with only one shot or Americans with natural immunity after recovering from COVID which would bring the total number much closer to the 70% VoR quoted.

  9. Paris isn't a district game but it is a game they've played in the penultimate week for a few seasons now.

  11. Pendleton game has been moved to 10/27. Trimble game fell through. Dayton is looking to fill a game on either 09/10 or 10/01.

  13. I saw them a few weeks back at Collins. There's a lot of talent there and this will only add to it, but they didn't look very cohesive. Obviously, it will take time, but if they can gel together, they should be a handful. Based on what I saw however, it will be a BIG IF.

  15. Cam has told me to my face that he will be a Bird. However, I honestly hope that either goes or stays at a place that makes him successful. I think his family needs to look in the mirror and put Cam’s best interest at heart and go from there. If that is at NCC or HHS then let’s roll! Stop messing with the young man.

  16. Crittenden and Russellville will play for the district title. Rumor is that Russellville has received two to three transfers from Logan County earlier this spring.

  17. Downgraded to a tropical storm again. It hasn't moved all that much since 11 PM last night. Blowing wind and rain, right now. I saw a lot of tree trash on the ground as I came into work this morning. However, no major damage that I know of. Neither my home nor my workplace experienced any power outages.

  21. Bowling Green: Strengths: Defense - the Purples will have one of the best defensive lines in the State. Even though they lose star LB Rece Jones, 2020 State Championship Game MVP LB Tyler Moore should assume that spot fine. Other big time playmakers in the secondary return. This unit should be solid from the get-go. Weaknesses/Challenges: Offense - The Purples will graduate 9 from the State Championship Team. They will be inexperienced but the talent should still be there. Likely QB will be SR Spencer Newman, who will be a solid, steady QB for BG. Running Back may be by commi

  22. Broyles is a big loss but I like Franklin to be a top contender again. They have talent all over the field and there should be no need to get the players to "buy in" any longer. Beating Central by a large margin at their place then beating JC at their place in the semi's were program changers. Big coaching staff, upgraded facilities, tons of momentum..... I think we are seeing the birth of a perennial power. I'm an Eddie James fan and although I didn't like how he handled the Highlands hiring and u-turn, the hiring of Sphire made everyone forget about it pretty quickly. I look for C

  24. NCC should be very competitive in this schedule. Good mix of multiple classes. Beechwood game is always tough and preps for a playoff run. The Roger Bacon game should be a much closer game talent level wise now that Kiner is gone. 😜 I just don’t like the impact of an OH game on the RPI, more to lose than gain. The Breds return 6 starters on each side of the ball and a couple more with significant varsity snaps in rotation . Including 4 of the 5 Offensive Lineman. 3 of the 4 LB’s from their starting rotation. Expecting 8-10 Seniors. Going to need a lot of new skill position players
