What's funny, is that I am slightly scared of this game....it seems that Coach Beatty's teams really hit their prime later in the season, almost feeling themselves out during the regular seasom. That said, word is, Bob wants this one really bad...more later....

    Warning:

Y'all, let's tone it down, and cease the "kitty" vs. "pebbles" talk. It's awfully close to rules violations in some cases.

    Thanks!

I would reverse that if they meet again in playoffs:

Playoffs if Trinity wins this week:
    Tigers 15
    Rocks 14
The two will probably meet again on December 8 at 7:30PM in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in the last game of the year.

Last night on Fox 9 I noticed many of the Saint Xavier players mentioned last year's rain shortened game as a major motivational factor (retribution, closure, etc.). This will be two "revenge" Trinity games in a row for them. <O
    1. Could a Tiger fan tell us how many starters from this year's team played in last year's game?
    2. Will Saint Xavier’s feeling that they need to prove something have any effect in this game? <O

Will the pressure of keeping the states longest win streak (against state opponents) be such that the Trinity team does not perform up to the Shamrock faithful expectations??

    Didn't hurt us in 88, 89 or 90.

I would rank Trinity's as follows:

    1. Cincy X
    2. BG
    3. Eastern
    4. Butler

If X has had tremendous success shutting down Trinity for the past 25 years with the spilt 6, why did they switch to the 4-3? I believe X ran the 4-3 in last year's game as well, correct? Has the personnel so drastically changed that it was not smart to run the split 6/or smart to run the 4-3? Coach Walsh is still the DC right?
    Any help here X fans?

Yes he is, No X was a 6-2 last year. The 4-3 this year brings more speed on the field with the extra Safety.

I believe this will be one will turn out to be a old fashion hard hitting low scoring affair with turn overs or mistakes key to the outcome.

I believe football in Kentucky is the winner in this game. How many other games in the state consistently draw 35,000+?
