Ryle 8 Highlands 7 (Freshman)

Page 3 of Yep, that's right. The Streak is over at 38. The Birds fought valiantly. Both teams played well. There are some hurting kids in Ft. Thomas tonight. Dea... 44 comments | 1967 Views | Go to page 1 →

Not saying that if they lose next week they don't have good character, but they best show hard work and determination this week in practice and in their next game. Who do we play next week?
As you know, I agree with you wholeheartedly and would expect nothing less from the baby birds.

SK should be the freshman team to beat with good talent and good numbers in the program. Both Twenhofel and Summit View were very good last year in the middle school league and I don't think Crane played for either one last year.
He looked good. He made a nice throw that resulted in a GREAT catch to get the ball down to about the 2 with under 4 minute left.

Please. Why would you feel bad for seniors in high school when the FROSH lose?

I'd suggest that maybe its best HHS frosh lost so they can now move on and enjoy their season without having to worry about their own fans piling on with guilt trips about how devastating it is to SENIORS. Good Lord.

I think he meant that the freshman for Highlands resembled a group of seniors that just played their last game by the disapointment they showed. Maybe I'm wrong, I had to read it twice though.

Cshs81, does the word Simile mean anything to you?

Mea culpa. I re-read it and see that the post was referring to the FROSH who were upset - not the SENIORS. Egg on my face.

I still stand behind my belief that its a good thing the streak is over. No 14 year old needs to be constantly reminded of that.

I'm not sure I agree that it is a good thing the streak is over but it will certainly relieve some pressure from the kids. Now they can just go out and play ball!

But it would be great if they now begin their own personal win Streak. Good luck Birds!
