Thanks for the note on the broadcast, I appreciate it. Us "Old" Ramblers and Warriors have each others backs

As for the weather today impacting the game in any way I do not think that it will. I look for the field to be in great shape, it usually holds up pretty well.

I bet they are no more ready to play, then we are for them to play. I would love to see them full strength again and show people how good they are.

Another place that imo has a better selection of the Orange and Black attire would be Bob Lynn's in Ironton. With Raceland and Ironton being orange and black there is always a pretty good selection of Raceland stuff over there.

Well, it is 4:00 a.m. Friday morning, game day, I do know that every kid at Greenup County that is dinged up, is going to be, able to play, these 2 teams played last year, Raceland had the better team, but the game was decided by a punt return, we hear that your team is getting back to full strength,,and I'm glad for you, but, do not take this Greenup County team lightly, I know you all remember, when we won 7yrs. in a row, and you all have won the last 2 yrs. See you at the game tonight, hope none of the players get reinjured or injured on both teams, this game means alot to both teams, that is what a rivalary game is all about, may the better team win.

What sweet folks over in Ramtown with all their kind offers. Ram- good luck keeping all the JFL kids together. They get so excited on JFL nights. I'm heading to Louisa, but I know that Old Rambler will keep us all updated on the Raceland/Greenup game on here. I always look forward to reading everyone's impressions of the games. Good Luck to All

I agree on this one is a good rivalry game and as another has said imo what adds to it is that it is a "huge" school as far as numbers vs. a very small (class A) school. Raceland loves playing the "big boys". Also, a lot of the kids know each other pretty well, may even play baseball together in summer leagues and other activities as well. Some are probably cousins, family and/or friends as well. As always may both teams stay injury free and....GO RAMS and the "Orange Crush Defense"!!!

(By the way, I believe that a big reason that GCHS had that streak of wins is now standing on the Raceland sidelines)

23 sixth graders and 2 coaches. I'll try to keep them together, but don't place any money on it.
