Nice win for the Rams, neither team played the best they could. Could see this matchup again first round in november.

Yah. So happy to see that win. I know the staff and kids at Fairview would have liked to have gone 4 and o but I didnt want it to be us. I thought they were several boys that stepped up with advirsity being two boys out. We needed to stop the run and make some plays. I was worried we were getting too comfident in the 4th there was still time on that clock. Games go down to seconds. Sparks thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your truely have earned the title versatile. I did hear there were players out for Fairview but a coach said to some people that the player was reinstated. I dont know about that one.

Next is LCA. Tough team every single year. I dont think they have a handful of bad years ever. I would like to see the lights stay on. haha. Just a joke. Boys are going to need to be thankful for the win but pracice like the dickens for this one.

Congrads Rams. We will be right with you heading to Lexington.

We were hoping that you would think the game was over, go home, and THEN we could score on you...!

Oh, our first 3 years were miserable, when we were on the "receiving end" of these lopsided games....

Congratulations to Raceland. This one was about what I expected. Good to see Raceland bounce back.

^ Nice article and "Go Rams and the Orange Crush"!!

This now makes the overall series at 27-8 in Raceland's favor in this rivalry.

Time to let it go now and concentrate on a VERY good LCA football team.

Fairview only had to have 1 player sit out, the other was reinstated by the khsaa on Friday and they got another starter back that was ineligable

Nice win for the Rams to begin district play.
Very good showing by Piercy as he played with a lot of heart. Another gutsy game by Selvage as he continues to impress.
Also agreat special teams play by Bobby Mckee as he made several nice tackles.
Enjoy the win and it's back to work on Monday.

I thought special teams was big in the game with Sparks kicking and punting along with the coverage of both good game coaches/players.

Of course, you do. I saw a young player making some big tackles on special teams, and he had a punt return, as well. I think that player was Bobby Mckee.

Not that reason they kept the Eagles pretty much deep all night special team made them go 60-80 yards for a score and the defense did the job most of the time.

How did your team do today.
