    Paducah Tilghman at Ft. Campbell

Both teams win their first game last week. Could be a great game.

I like Tilghman in this one...They are a little better defensively and have the athletes and speed to match Ft Campbells.

Hard to believe the loser of this game is going to be 1-3. To their credit though, both have played tough non-district schedules.

Both of these teams lost to Graves County in games that could have easily gone the other way. Fort Campbell gave up a late touchdown to lose at Graves and Tilghman got to the 5 in the last two minutes but failed to score and take the lead.

For the second straight year, Tilghman has lost some close games they could have easily won at the start of the season.

    Tilghman should win this.

I watch Ft. Campbell's game at Warren East. They did not play to their strength instead they tried to out duel WE.

Not a good game plan. Ft. Campbell has to keep it mostly on the ground. They suffered four 4th quarter interceptions in the WE game.

Interesting, because their QB somehow made the Tremendous 26 list, even though he isn't one of the top QBs in western Kentucky.

As for keeping it on the ground ... the same applies for Tilghman, too.

I agree that FC should run the ball more then they often do. At times it seems that they try and force the passing game more then necessary. If last week is any indication, it should be obvious that PT will run the ball and the keys for FC to win will be to contain PTs running game and kickoff returns. If FC can do this and prevent costly turnovers and penalties then I think they will prevail.

Paducah Tilghman in a close one 23 to 21. It also amazes how Ft. Campbell's Qb made that list & Corey Robinson (Lone Oak) who has already thrown 15 tds in just 2 games didn't.

Not trying to downplay the Croft kid...he's a good player, but how he made the tremendous 26 is beyond me. Perhaps I just saw him (against East) on an off night.

Cynical, I agree...The kid has a decent arm, can run pretty well and is a pretty heady player, but, nothing more than a good HS QB, not great...

He was a huge surprise on the list.

I would think so. It's not a big surprise that he wasn't, given that he's in western Kentucky and Lone Oak isn't exactly a household name.

Gotta put up big numbers against big teams...that's been the knock on most of Warren East's kids - big numbers against weak competition...thus the upgrad in East's schedule to help change that perception.
