    I keep hearing about Ludlows mistakes, but let's face it, Dayton had numerous correctable mistakes themselves that they will/should bounce back from. Ellis has at least 4 incomplete passes to very capable receivers that hit them in bad spots....the hands or the helmet. Beechwood is a far better team than Dayton, but I agree w/ ESPN guy when he said Dayton was "flat". If A few of those things change and it certainly changes the mentality of the Dayton player (not the overall outcome), but back on topic, Dayton needs to get Young and Turner more active in the offense and they win this game by a touchdown

    I really dont see where half of you people are getting these predictions from. Ludlow only has a passing game and that seams to be something Dayton has shut down this season, and who has Ludlow played besides Bellevue.

    Dayton playing at home will win....

    Dayton=27
    Ludlow=14

    And that is not true at all. Ludlow does have a good running game, but the passing game was working so well against Bellevue that there was no reason to try to run the ball much. They moved the ball all night long like that. In the first two games of the year, Ludlow did run the ball more and put up good rushing yards as well. Also Bellevue had been a very good pass defense going into the Ludlow game, and as I said Ludlow's passing game still worked very well against them even with Rouse not playing his sharpest game...

If you think that those boys didn't come out flat and came out ready to go in that game, it just shows me you haven't seen them play much. And they may have played "poor" big schools, who has Ludlow played and beaten? Carrol County? not exactly a single A powerhouse. I would take Holmes or Scott over them...Who else did they beat?
    Trimble Co. a team that probably would beat Holmes and Scott...Trimble Co. has a running back who was honorable mention last year for the all state team, and probably will be on it this year. They also have a 300 pound fullback in front of him as well. They are atleast as good as holmes or scott, and probably better actually, because that runningback is REALLY GOOD...As I said before no one really knew much about this Ludow team, because the first two games they played were far road trips. It wasn't until this Bellevue game where people finally seen Ludlow. And even though Bellevue won, I think they will even say that Ludlow offense is as good as advertised so far this year. And the defense has gotten better each week so far. I mean they even held Bellevue to only 20 yards at halftime in the game. But with the mistakes Ludlow made, it let Bellevue get in the lead, and play their game all game which was just pounding the ball. And by the 4th quarter I think it had worn down Ludlow a little bit, and Bellevue started to really pick up chunks of yards. So Ludlow is going to score points, and will this week as well. It will just come down to once again who makes the least mistakes out of both teams...

    Wow someone must love Ludlow. Unless the Panthers have a 300 pound running back i dont see them running on Dayton. I know for a fact Holmes's backfield is much faster than Ludlow's and Scott's is bigger. i think the Panthers will try to pass and that will make them put LONG drives together, Bellevue made Ludlow put drives together and Ludlow couldnt do it. They made mistakes and gave the tigers the ball, and i think the Dayton D' is better than Bellevues

    The Dayton seniors have never lost to Ludlow and will not this week. People are criticizing Dayton's wins, but Ludlow's lone win was against a really bad Carroll County team. Dayton wins by 2TD's.

    Yes they have lost to them while they been in high school. I dont know if any of them played, but when they were freshman Ludlow did beat them...And also that is not true, you all keep forgetting that Ludlow beat a good Trimble Co. team to start the season and they are every bit as good as the two teams Dayton has beat. And that trimble co. team had a player who was better than any of the teams Dayton has seen in their wins...

    And well that is not true either. Ludlow's drives against Bellevue were not that long and didn't take to many plays to do it. They had alot of big plays in the games, where receivers were breaking off long runs. It was rather quick when Ludlow moved the ball on Bellevue, so I not sure what you are talking about there...

    Well then all you are saying is that Ludlow is even less disciplined than i said they where. Your saying they made mistkes on short drives i was giving them the benifit of the doubt and saying they happend on long drives. But thanks anyways

    And as far as that loss when the seniors where freshmen only two of them started that year....

    Trimble County is also not very good. You will see Friday. Freshman year does not count.

    That good running total -16 yds of rushing against Bellevue...I don't care if a teams passing attack is working, if their runhing game is supposed to be good, they shouldn't finish with negative yards. How do you say Rouse did not play a sharp game he had 370 yds. passing, but could get the yards when they counted!

    I think Dayton wins this one which will leave Ludlow thanking God that they still have to play Brossart so that they can get their district win to make the playoffs, just to lose to Beechwood\Bellevue first round.

    How many times did Ludlow even attempt to pass the ball huh? Plus Bellevue had a couple of sacks which goes against rushing yards. So lets see Ludlow barely ran the ball that game, and had a couple of sacks. Its not hard to figure out why they had -16 yards in the game...Also as for Rouse, ask around for people who saw this game, and seen Rouse play other games, and they will say this wasn't his sharpest game either. Arugably the pass he throws the best is the deep ball, and I believe 5 or 6 times he overled receivers who had burnt the Bellevue DB's down field. Usually he hits passes like that. Also as for the interception in the end zone, thats another pass he usually always makes. So yeah Rouse definitely was not his sharpest, but he still put up good numbers and that just shows how good of a QB he is...

    Also I am done with this because this has nothing to do now with this game against Dayton, and I dont want this thread to get closed. So unless now you have stuff to say about this Dayton game, I am threw talking with you...

    Haha Beechwood/Bellevue. Are you saying that Bellevue might just beat Beechwood? That is funny...Also as I said before people just better hope Ludlow dont beat Dayton this week, and I will leave it at that...

    Either way this should be a great game this friday at Dayton stadium..
