I think they were more worried about the run. By run i mean Bankamper and Tepil. They seemed unprepared to stop the quarterback when he would run it

Im not 100% sure. But i know that he has only had 1 interception since the Holmes game. I'm also sure that he has had well over a hundred yards passing since Holmes also.

Have seen two of Daytons games this year, believe me when I say the defense is far from a strength. The Holmes game was a comedy of errors, and at Beechwood I dont even know if the defence made the trip! Some of you are talking about "The Drive". Correct, 80 yards against a defense that was in prevent, now there is something to hang your hat on! Have seen no offense other than that, What speed! Ludlow has not faired much better, from what I read, have not seen a game yet so I cant talk about it with direct knowledge, did see a scrimmage, the offense moved the ball, the defense did have some speed, QB did have command of his team however and that should be enough for Dayton.

You are showing your bias. Dayton had so many stops against Holmes it wasn't funny. Daytons defense has many sacks. As for the offense, you act as if they have only scored once or something. Lets remember Dayton is 2-1, they must have some offense scoring 21 points on Holmes and 14 on Scott. Regardless of what happened in the Beechwood game.

No bias intended. Dont have a dog in this fight! The Holmes game as I said a comedy of errors, if it wasnt for returns you would have no game, both teams, correct? Scott game , tell me how long were those drives? Ill give you an atta boy for the interception however. And as I said, did not see the Scott game, just the "high" lights.

Thats what I thought, so I was wondering where he came up with the whole showing your bias statement...

I may be wrong here, but didn't most of their points against Holmes come on special teams from returns? And also the Scott game didn't one of the touchdowns come from an interception?... I am not for sure on this though, that is why I am just asking?

Yeah true, however no offense to James Miller, but he was not much of a threat when it comes to passing the ball..Rouse on the other hand is a VERY GOOD passer, so Dayton wont be able to just focus on the run like they did when they played Holmes. So just cause they shut down Miller, dont mean they will Rouse, because it is totally different...

In the Holmes game Dayton's 3 TDs were set up by the return game. I believe the drives were all 30 yards and under. But it should be mentioned that Holmes had short fields all night too because of their return game and one of their scores was an 80 yard punt return.
