Agreed. Any HC experience? How old is he. Coaching in St. Louis, where the public schools play a lot of games at city parks, is several step down from coaching in NKY. Of course we wish him luck and Lloyd shouldn't take long to reclaim their spot in the local 2A, with the athletes in Erlanger and Elsmere.

He had previously coached at Grant County and the past two years at Holmes. A very good coach and knows alot about the game and has the passion that will make him a winner.

does anyone close to this know when he plans on meeting the boys and introducing himself. I guess he's busy getting his staff together, any word on the staff yet?

Coach Josh Stratton, has had coaching stints in Grant County, St.Louis and at Holmes. He is an offensive kind of guy but knows the complete game very well. He will bring a high octane and hard working attitude and will demand excellence from his players and his coaches, because he demands it of himself. He will run what his players talents are, he is not a system coach. I have said it earlier that if they will allow him to surround himself with strong assistants they will reap the rewards of this great young mind. He knows how to run an entire program and has got to work with some great coaches in his days and will be able to attract some guys to come work for him .

Just a side note he has also coached basketball in Ohio, KY and was a head coach in St. Louis where he was the coach of the year in basketball in his region. He knows how to win and will instill a winning attitude in all the kids and people he is around because he is so energetic and full of enthusiasm. He knows the weight room and what it takes to be sucessful. Players be ready and be prepared to dedicate to being a better athlete and person because that is what will happen at Lloyd with Stratton.

Coach Stratton meet with the kids yesterday and was told 53 where in attendance, that doubles the roster from last year. The kids that I have talked to got a great vibe from him and are very excited to get things rolling. I als0 was told that the weight room was going to be very intense workout sessions.
