    Lexington Christian Academy

I would like to know about this team. Do they have size and speed? Are they a senior dominated team? Do they have a web site for its football team? Just looking for views and opinions.

IMO of them is they are small in size. They have a pretty good QB. Not to high on the overall team speed. They have a pretty good RB. I think they are a year away from being a contender in the east.

    Good linemen.

The defense was young (they lost a lot of seniors), but has vastly improved since the pre-season scrimmages, especially the defensive backs & linebackers.

W/everything being told here in NKY, you are pretty much blowing some major smoke where the sun don't shine.

It is said they are the team to beat opposite Beechwood/Mayfield and Frankfort.

They are the best team in the east. Pikeville and Lynn Camp might and I stress might be able to beat them in a one game playoff format but until one of those teams do I would say LCA has to be the fav. going to state title game from the east.

They must've improved since srimmages, if coachbuckett is blowing smoke as Frankfort beat them 49-14.

L.C.A. has a long way to go to be a favorite in the east. The schedule hasn't been that impressive yet. We will learn a lot in the remainder of the season. They have raceland, corbin, breathitt, and hazard still to go. They have improved a lot since scrimmages where they were working on things rather than preparing to win scrimmages. However they will need to raise thier level of play again to play in papa johns.

Not blowing smoke. Of course I haven't seen them play since the WIllimasburg game. They have a great coach so I am sure they have improved since the last time I seen them.

The linemen are small in size. But the do a good job technique wise.
    QB- is good
    RB is solid. Hard nosed.

    Great Kicker.

Defense- IMO doesn't have great speed. They do a good job with pursuit that makes up for that.

The LCA / Raceland game should be a good measuring tool on how well they have improved.

Agree, for the most part. The most impressive win was against Lloyd, whom #1 Beechwood barely beat (or so the summaries on BGP said).

The core of the line is made up of three 3-year starters (Duff, Hill & Harmon), averaging about 230 pounds each. Nothing huge, but WAY bigger than LCA's linemen used to be!

This is very true, the score did not indicate how close the game was. This was a very emotional game for the Beechwood bunch.
