Looking forward to a recap. Congrats to the Birds. Outstanding win. One of the top 2 teams in KY this year IMHO.

This weekend, once again, shows the amazing high school football that is played in the greater Cincy area.

    Congrats to the Birds.

Birds broke the rule. They crossed the river and came back winners.

HHS scored the first 15 rushing at will by Cecil Conner & Hurtt.
Then after a fumble by the Birds Trotwood emptied the back field and went to the spread and started gaining yardage. HHS fumble a few more times to keep Trotwood in it.

    Bathiany's leg was huge tonight.
Trotwood did not have a kicker. They missed the extra point after the first score. Made a 2 after the second and then missed the deuce after that last score that give them their first lead. HSS got great field position afte all the Kicks.

Could this be the best HHS team ever?

HHS had a huge second half goal line stand. Then they could get out from the one. After the punt Trotwood got the ball with the short field at the 35 or so. At that point it was 18-14 HHS. Trotwood was able to score to take the 20-18 lead.

The first play after the kickoff Guidugli to Josh Conner for the 51 yard score. Highlands only pass completion of the night.

The only attempted a few passes.

After the HHS score to make it 24-20 (HHS went for two and missed) The Birds held and got the ball back. The got a big first down and got the clock down to 52 secs before turning it over on downs around the 30. On third and about 11. Soph Brandon Roller made the pick with 11 secs to seal it.
