    Fort Campbell 2011

What does Fort Campbell need to do to improve in 2011? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

2011 season will be interesting moving up to class 3A. Looking forward to who'll be on the Falcons schedule.

    Team leadership from the players.
    No attitudes.
The will to work hard, they can't give up.
Realize that no one player is bigger than the team.
    Listen to the coaches.

The season should be an interesting one. I'm curious about the schedule too. I have heard rumblings that they'll play nearby Clarksville High School.....but I'm not sure on many of the others.

Spring practice just wrapped up this week & my humble observations found that this team is already having fun and showing a lot of promise. Some of the upcoming seniors are showing leadership and the team appears to be buying into Coach Berner's way of doing business.

The seniors on the 2010 additon of Falcon football provided zero leadership for a variety of reasons/excuses, graduation will take care of that.

Some players that had significant roles on the team last season have decided that they no longer desire to be Falcon players, that is probably a positive also. (lack of committment & dedication to the team)

After the chaf is separated from the quality grain, FC will be back and ready to return to its winning ways.

I do not think there will be any titles on the horizon for Fort Campbell in 3A, 3A was the place to be a few years back but now things are different.

Well, we're closer now to the beginning of the season and our Falcons are ready for some 3A football!

Preseason BGP Ranking of 8th gets no arguments from me and I think they'll play better without the pressure. They've gained some size and some additions in the offseason. They've got about 18 seniors on the squad, most of who were here last season and still carry the disappointment of a 5-7 season on their shoulders.

Attitudes are good, leadership is in place and we're all ready for some FC Falcon Football!!

Fellas, FC will start the night with Kenwood & end the evening in a scrimmage with Apollo from Owensboro.

Start time has been moved back to 7:00 to accomodate any heat issues.

It ought to be interesting to see them against Apollo. I’m not too excited about Kenwood since they have played them the last two years. I really wanted to see them scrimmage Clarksville Academy. Regardless I’m looking forward to see how they are shaping up this year.
