I have not a dog in this fight, but I do have a few observations.

    1. I have heard the complaints from other programs as well about the band playing during the game. I was under the impression that this was against the sportsmanship rules of the KHSAA. If I'm not mistaken was there not a big deal regarding this matter in the Highlands/Elder game a few years ago? Is it just an Ohio rule? Regardless of being in a rule, it is both tasteless and classless IMO......

    2. This would be the second week in a row that I have heard complaints from both sides regarding the officiating out at DHS. In particular the spots have seemed to be a hot-button issue. Did the same crew work this game as last weeks?

Not trying to be brash, but where his head was has nothing to do with it.

Early in this thread, I questioned why these two teams would play each other as there seems to be no rivalry. From these posts, seems like I was wrong on that one.

As long as the block starts in front, it is not a block in the back. You can also ask any official about the block in the back. The officials have been instructed, that unless the hit is square in the back, it is not a penalty. Even if it is on the side of the back. That is just the way it is!

Also, I remember when everyone in Dayton used to say the officials screw them. Now people are saying that visitors to Dayton are getting homered... Sounds like sour grapes! Way to go Greendevils on another close win!!!

Read my post before the one you quoted. I said the exact same thing. ESPNGuy referred to the helmet being a key in the block in the back call, I was stating that was incorrect.

Nice to know coaches take rule enforcements from the clinics...

I was just saying that as a reply, because his head was in front. That was the whole point of him posting that picture, so he could say it wasn't.

You have to get used to it. It's how Dayton is when you play there. They have always been known for playing dirty.:fight:

Yea well i heard Lynn Camp parents curse and yelling boo so many times it was unbelivable and Dayton does not play dirty they have changed there ways. Give them the credit they deserve.
