It would have been nice to see Jaren Thomas pulling in a long well thrown bomb headed toward the end zone! That boy can catch anything within five yards of him.

#21 had the ball at the end of the game.
I feel so bad for GRC- they looked SO good tonight for pretty much the entire game. Wish someone could find that missing piece to the puzzle . . . these kids deserve it.

Wow, GRC continues to be plagued by an array of one score heartbreakers. Hats off to GRC tonight but, I agree their has to be a missing piece to the puzzle.

You know, I'm starting to think so to. # 20 demonstrated some serious skills, and #1 Mason step up his game and performed in a competitive situation, initially the whole team played well. They need to hold on to that win, because a distraction like 0-4 will hold your teams attention going into the next game, and that could be bad.

After reading the Winchester Sun..........I am just as speechless as I was last night. (Great write-up by Larry Vaught though).

"We should have got out of bounds on one run and the we had a miscommunication when one play was supposed to be a pass"

Sounds like there are some issues that need to be addressed. Seems there was some miscommunication during several other games where plays didn't work like the were called. Either its the coaches or the QB. But I don't look for the coahes to change next game.

This game could be a turning point for both teams for the rest of the season. It helped both defenses contain athletes no matter who or who didn't make the plays when they needed to be made. It also may help build character for a young Danville team and GRC may just be a play or two away from just being right in the mix at the end of the season for playoff home field advantage.

Needless to say, you schedule tough opponents for this to help the program and good luck to both teams for the remainder of the season.

#20 Jarren Thomas played a heck of a game last night. He was big on defense with some great stops, great pass reception, and big interception. He is a natural athlete. Hope to see more of him.

Tatum Lewis #5 had a big defensive game also. He stepped up with a couple a big stops on Danville's drives, and ran several plays at QB. Look for him to get a lot more plays in that position.
