So the first great move in the chess match goes to Caldwell. Will there be a rematch in the playoffs?

This class is fun to watch and I have a feeling we are going to be entertained all the way through to the final whistle in BG.
Seeing the utter mediocrity in some of the other classes right now beyond the Top 5 (Cough..cough..4A and 5A...cough..cough)... 3A is such a fun class this year. Outside of Class 6A it is the only class with what I would considered "good" team throughout the entire Top 10 right now.

I can't speak for ATL but I assume the strength of Boyle and Central is one of the main reasons for the "huge gap between East and West" he speaks of when combined with the other teams.

The west playoffs will be a gauntlet and while Boyle is the favorite, and Central is probably the next in line, there are another 3-4 teams who are probably capable of upsetting one of them in the right conditions.
Absolutely...when 6 of the Top 7 teams are on one side there is no denying it is a gauntlet and I don't think myself, or anyone else for that matter, has ever said otherwise in regards to the 2015 season?

The KHSAA Scoreboard App says it was 48-27 final score. I'm assuming Razor got it right since no one has corrected him. Can anyone give a confirmation that Razor is all over it?

It was indeed 46-27. A bit of a strange game, but I think the two teams are pretty evenly matched. Tilghman gave it up 4 times while Caldwell turned it over just once. That's pretty big when you consider just how close the game was otherwise.

Backinblack, please do not lump a whole fan base in with one knucklehead.
I haven’t met a fan base yet that doesn't have some-

Hey PT is a really good team! I wouldn't count them out.

Caldwell lost to Murray in the regional championship game the last two years after beating them decisively in the regular season, so they have a tendency to choke. I hope it doesn't happen this year. They deserve a shot a the state championship.

I don't know about choking. Seems like last year Murray was being handled pretty well until Sindelar went down. The year before I believe both games we're close and murray had a very good team.

Sorry man maybe choking wasn't the right word. They probably do be Murray if Sindelar doesn't go down.

I do think they are a better team this year because their schedule is tougher and they have many options at the skilled positions. PLUS--they are HUNGRY!

Just don't look past Tilman or anyone just yet.

I'm rooting for them all the way!
