First ,was the fourth TD by Doshette (I tried to spell his name correctly and it told me I had a word violation) courtesy of Bogel thru the air or something else?

Second, did BC continue the 50-50 pass/run play calling?

Wow--I thought Boone would be the first test for the Camels, but not dominate like this?? I know the Campbell faithful were predicting a better showing against Boone?? Did the Camels' "O" just not show up, or did Boone dominate the lines like many expected?? Sounds like Camels have a ways to go before they can tout themselves among the big school elite in NKY?

Sure did'nt take you guys long to start busting the camels chops. They have a very talented group of Senior players. Maybe it was an off night, those things do happen. My son plays baseball with many of these kids in the summer and grew up playing football with them. Boone County is good and always should be. The Farris boy is an exceptional athlete, surrounded by Im sure many very good athletes. Why the decline on the football offer. It's rumored he has a pro baseball future. Counting the alexandria boys out would be stupid. Good athletes and even better kids a fun and talented football staff. The year is to early to count out anybody. It however, does not get any easier this week. Ryle plays a very brutle style of football. I think they they call it smash mouth. The camels will bounce back, way to many good boys to work with and they don't like to lose. Go Camels

    ????
After Boone fumbled the punt just before the half CC threw a pass down to the Boone 2 .After 2 failed attempts of getting in with 4 seconds left in the half .Why did CC elect to go for it ? I thought sure they would kick the FG and take the points .Halftime score would of been 16-3 .I felt that was big for Boone

Doucette would be the spelling, and I believe the Enquirer said Bogle totaled 13 passes.

To bad there's really no meaning to this game. However, it should be a good game.

I'm certainly not "busting the Camels chops"?? Simply asked what happened to their offense, which had be outstanding in the first couple games; and I was surprized they got shut out. Maybe that had something to do with the opponents, but it's still surprizing to me?? Camels will be fine and may reel off 4 or 5 in a row, as Boone appears to be a cut above everyone up here except Highlands.

The Camels played a very good Boone Co team "flat" last night. I am not taking anything away from the Rebels but the Camel players and fans know that we can play much better than what they showed. The O line will need to make some adjustments to give the running game a jolt and to protect the QB and give him some time to throw. There were open receivers all night long but Kidwell did not have the time to get to them. The sophmore Andrew Eshman showed some talent in his short appearance and could be used in combination with Kidwell to compliment his style of play. He looks to have a promising future with the Camels. As always the Camel faithful showed up in force, tailgating and all and left with a bad taste in their mouths thanks to the Boone Defense. But we still BELIEVE in the Camels and know that they need to make a statement against Ryle this Friday.

Good to see the Guru at the game, a quality guy!

Then why the comment about the camel faithful? Thanks for calling this out nc dad. AND the camel crowd will make the call for success against ryle. Easy to see how it starts.

The comment about the Camel faithful, which by the way its good to see are finally showing up; was simply that they were touting the powerful offense and a sound victory vs. Boone, off the showing against two weak teams?? Guys, anyone can feel free to predict anything, but be prepared to eat a little crow when you're wrong--I know I've had to do so a few times??

Don't be so sensitive, nobody's knocking the Camels, they've got a good club; maybe just not in Boone's league yet--No disgrace!!

Those were not that weak of teams. Not like they were playing someone like Brossart. We can read between your lines, I'll leave it at that.

The Camels didn't expect to lose 28-0 obviously on Friday night. Kidwell came out nervous in this being his first "big" game. I think a 28-0 win for Boone Co. isn't good enough. Campbell Co. played awful. Just think if the Camels played just a little bit better. This game wouldn't be 28-0. Campbell Co. is in Boone's league, there's no doubt about it. The defense contained Farris. How many big runs did he have? All short yardage runs. Eten, DE, was being triple teamed on the outside and Farris was no where near him. Campbell Co. may re-evaluate their game plan and come back next time looking like a different team. Farris is Boone's lifeline, if he goes down, so do the Rebels. It's never good to rest your season on one offensive player.

Score surprised me...I had thought Boone would pull out a win but thought it would be much closer.
