Ease on up. Smith will be fine if he stops pressing. He certainly has the arm strength, he just needs to stop forcing it. I am more worried about the fumbles than the INT's.

Football is a fun game, and noone seems to be having any fun here.

I am really surprised Bardstown played so poorly against Lincoln Co. Hats off to them. As for Warren East, if they can defend Scott, then they will probably win a close one. I'm never one to vote against the Tigers, but they seem very predictable right now. Their seniors better step up and become leaders instead of looking around, waiting for someone else to make a play.

No Pass Rush.....No Victory. Of course, the secondary will have to play lights out as well. Offensively, just eliminate the turnovers....i think the everything else will take care of itself.

I think Bardstown has a serious chance of slowing down the warren east passing game friday. If they can slow it down it will help the tigers come away with a victory.

I agree, but I'm more worried about the offense than the defense.

I don't think this will be as close as many think. I'll take Warren East by 15.

East is a big play team. They will stretch the field and stretch the field.

They are not all pass. Sherrod Holton is a tough runner and will burn you if your D starts thinking pass all the time.

Then when you drop off a receiver to defend toss sweep the RB will throw one deep.

Warren East will go to Bardstown and get a win over a tough team.

Does anyone know the injury status of Scott, Phillips, Mattingly, and any other of the other banged-up Tigers??

Everyone is fine other than just being sore. I think the main factor in these "injuries" is the fact that most of these guys arent used to playing on both sides of the ball and now they are getting a good taste of it. The conditioning that Clark has implemented has REALLY paid off.

I don't think #4, Scott, will get the start on friday due to a knee injury. Mattingly may also be out because of a nagging hamstring injury.

This good be bad for Bardstown if these two guys don't play. Scott backup is still out with a injury and I was hoping in last week game the coach would try to find somebody to step up because Scott was hurting and sitting on the sidelines.

Incidentally, the Tigers will be honoring retired head coach Joey Downs for his 17 years of service before and at halftime of this ballgame. Certainly anyone with any Tiger sense at all will be motivated by this festivity.
