    Coach Hart imo is a very good coach and Lutz......well he is a legend above any other coach in our regional area. Both teams are well coached, whichever team loses this one it will not be bc of coaching.

    I am from this area and this is a nice rivalry. I am going with Ironton for the win!!! I think Ironton still has it.

    Who would have thunk it?...both of these teams facing each other and winless. I really don’t know what to expect Friday night but refuse to believe that either squad is as bad as what their collective records suggest.

    As much as a victory itself, what I want to see out of these Tomcats is a solid and focused performance throughout all 4 quarters…no silly “shoot yourself in the foot” penalties…just solid, fundamental football. This Ashland team has a great opportunity to get back on track tonight. Don’t forget too, this group of players has beaten Ironton before.

    Here it is Friday morning and I have been told that Ashland has pretty much changed their whole line and people still believe that Thomas is starting at QB.
