Lafayette Job

Page 2 of Where did this process breakdown? This is either laughable or embarrassing or both for Fayette County. It just isn't this difficult.... 45 comments | 3650 Views | Go to page 1 →

Heard that Tony was not getting an interview and that in itself is a joke! Leave it up to Fayette County : )

I wouldn't cry for Coach Wise, he has some very good talent coming up. Frankfort should be able to make some noise in the region like Norman and Chalk did.

Four interviewees....from what I've heard...Mendenhall, Stone, Ligon, someone from Eastern Ky. How can Lafayette interview two guys with no Head Coaching experience? Just give Ligon the keys and move on. Best of luck

If I were Ligon I wouldn't even come close to Fayette county after the way they did him at Bryan Station. Can't believe the superintendant didn't step in on that one (coach of the year and they fire him, that's a joke). Best of luck to whoever comes in, they will have a great player in Davis. He needs a leader to teach him more of the game than just scoring baskets.

Is this the Mendenhall that is an assistant at Lex Catholic? He's a great motivator and players work hard for him. Can't imagine him leaving the nest of Lex Catholic though.

This would have to be Mike Mendenhall, Jr., right?

Wasn't he recently an assistant at Lafayette?

There are rumors going around Boyle County that Lincoln County coach Jeff Jackson is a leader for the job. I'd be shocked if he left Lincoln County. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor?

If these are the candidates being interviewed then Tony Wise not getting an interview is hard to believe.

I do but was asked to keep quiet, it is a home run hire if it is who I think it is Also very nice to meet you at the 10th regional tourney, even though it was cold and I had to pay twice.

I know you have been asked to keep quiet, but just wondered if that "homerun" hire might have gotten another job today??? Not in the state of Kentucky. I won't mention the name I am thinking it might would have been.
