I did hear that Coach Jim Hicks could end up at Harrison Co instead of Bath.

Not sure about that. Especially this late in the summer. Trying to find a teacher to fill the position that Hundley has taken would be kind of a pain.

Don't know about Harrison's talent level for the next few season's, but they do have a very nice 7th-8th grade squad.

That has always been a possibility since Mike's son did not go to school at CC. I think Mike has a year or two left in him, and has potentially the best preseason group he has seen. I would take something like coaching his son to make him move. I don't think HC could meet his salary.

Pendleton County's assistant Brad Cox has applied. He would be a good hire.

Really? What would be the reason for that?

You might want to double-check your sources on this. Kendall was one of two people to apply for the AD position that was open. If he had not been hired, he would have been back on the sidelines this year.

Take it to the bank: Reitz will be the new coach. Done deal behind the scene.

Interesting......what is the timetable for the announcement? It would seem that they would want to announce quickly so Campbell County could get a start on their candidate search.

Who would be interested in the Campbell County job? Some good talent at CC at the moment and Scott & Brossart are both very inexperienced in their district.

I would think it is Reitz....A lot of folks in Cynthiana love the way he coaches and I don't think he would pass up the chance to coach his boy in HS.

Good for Rietz, unique opportunity to go back home and coach son. Still think the Campbell job is a pretty good job. Interested to see who they will pursue as their next coach.
