No Way he would start on CCH JV. He can shoot, but only if he isn't guarded. Any kind of defense on him shuts him down. Nice kid, but also very very slow.

I seem to remember the Schrand boy being a backup last year on the frosh team. Would he start for the CCH JV this year?

    Legit question.

I believe that puts Ruthsatz about 35 away from tying the school scoring record. Also on pace for all-time scoring average record - very close to Roger Tieman, but I believe he's ahead at this point.

A lot of kids are getting a lot of varsity time at other schools who are weak when they should be playing JV. Again, why single the kid out?
Let me be clear so no one misunderstands.

I say "legit question" meaning I am truly asking. I have NO basis for an opinion because I have seen the kid play about 2 minutes of basketball ever. I then see him having some success scoring at the varsity level a year later. So I ask the question to determine how much of it is him improving greatly and maturing physically and how would he compare to kids at CCH?

It's like me saying "would Blake Bir have been the starting QB if Drew Barker went to CCH?" It's what we do here.

I listened to the game online. Sounded like HC offense got a fair amount of open looks early.

Does HC run an open post offense since they sound like they lack size?

Bo Schuh had a total of 15 rebounds tonight, 7 offensive and 8 defensive.

I have seen them twice and they run the open post. It would be a fun offense to play especially if you like getting shots and shooting threes.
They don't have any size and they really struggle at finishing at the basket or manning the glass on either end.
Bezold is a decent player, not real quick, but can bring 4's and 5's away from the basket and shoot with range. He would be an ideal pick and pop player.

Loosing to CCH by 31 is a moral victory for HC.
