What you failed to mention though was that one of the players mentioned just so happens to be the younger brother of someone I went to high school with, but am also still good friends with to this day.

You and sportsguy (who has asked for my help in the past to "get" a few players on his AAU team...funny how that works, huh?) can bash my info and take personal shots at me all you want but I have a lot more inside info than you think. Unlike others in this thread, I stated a fact that no new players had enrolled at Dixie. Is that not true? I'd assume you'd know since you seem to know it all.

The one player that was mentioned as supposedly transferring in by Q, was actually a student at Dixie all year but didn't play basketball. Thanks for playing though.
My point is that you didn't get all of the story, yet passed what vague info you did get off as you having some deep inside connection to the Dixie program. Fail.

How does the older brother of Avery get you ties to "as close to the Dixie program as you can get"? Yet another swing and miss.

0-2 with two whiffs. You've been sent to the minors..

You are so wrong on this one I don't even know where to begin. BUT, IF you had the "facts/inside source" you would already know. As this is fact.

Watching the Dixie players such as Hatton at the KBA this weekend, Dixie is in good shape! But, anything can happen.

Found this quote to be interesting:

“I have to be able to get with assistant coaches that have a passion for the game and expose ourselves to the grammar schools through clinics and camps and things like that and try to draw the talent.” - Scott Ruthsatz

Surprised that this one hadn't gotten more play on the site.

As a Cov Cath supporter, I liked this quote from the new coach better:

"I want kids who love the game and play hard and don't disrespect the game. I'm all for maybe taking less talented kids that really want to work and develop. I've seen kids who are really explosive athletes, but don't sometimes have the discipline and heart to learn the little things."

As I would be as well if I were in your shoes. Given the new hire's pedigree, it seems like a lack of effort and/or discipline is something that will not be tolerated either.

Did Coach L tolerate lack of effort and/or discipline?

From all indications I've received, that's a no.

I've also yet to see any indication that Coach L was the type who would make a public statement about attempts to 'try and draw the talent' or anything of that sort either.

Didn't know it was a Dixie thread, thought it was about 2011 9th Region BB in general. Sorry to threadjack.
