Gotta love all the innuendo, closely guarded "inside scoop" and hearsay that people love to come throw out and then not say anything.

Not sure where some of you are getting your info but I can tell you for a fact that Dixie has had no new kids enroll that would also be apart of the basketball team. The Dixie faithful have heard the rumors that are swirling from the AAU circuit but those are just that right now... RUMORS.

Apparently Dixie isnt done with their offseason acquisitions. Not only will Zach McCormick likely transfer per Kurt Stubbs of Ohio Hoops Report but in checking out the Team Kentucky roster I noticed a player named Lazar Lukavic. The school listed next to him was Dixie. It just so happens he is 6'10.

So lets take a look. Dixie returns 4 starters from their 9th Region Championship team including arguably the best freshman in the state offensively in 6'2 B. Hatton, 6'5 Auburn football signee Zeke Pike, 6'5 stud Stansberry.

    Offseason transfers
Desean Peterson formerly of Holmes. 6'2 super stud Wr in football who will provide even more athleticism to this loaded team.
Zach McCormick-A top player in Ohio class of 2014. Avg 16 pts a game for Wilmington as a frosh. Plays Aau with Hatton.

Rumored transfer - 6'10 Lazar Lukavic who lists Dixie as his school on the Team KY Aau roster posted on their website.

Now somebody tell me who is going to stop this put together Scott Co North team?

Scott County North, that is funny. Funny how these transfers always find the schools that already have talent coming back, guess we can just call it a Lebron James trend.

My source is as clOse to the Dixie program as you can get. I never said they wouldn't get a transfer... I simply stated that none had transferred in YET. Read my post a little closer next time before responding.

As far as the 6'10 kid goes, didn't Dixie have a big kid like that already enrolled this year that didn't play basketball?

Wow! With CCH getting their new high profile coach, sounds like Dixie Hwy might be a battle of the acquisitions. Should be interesting to say the least. Will have to wait and see.

Wow--All those worried about CovCath building a prep type school on Dixie Highway sound like they were right--Just a little too far north??

The speculation is that Hatton would eventually move to Holmes to play with strong talent. Instead, the talent seems to be coming to him.
