Cougars should be an improved team from last year's uncharacteristic 7 win season. The Cougars return a good nucleus of players and a healthy group of players. Back from a knee injury is 6'4" senior Stephen Barnett and Senior shooting guard Logan May is nearly 100% healthy from a lengthy battle with medical issues. 6'2" Jr. Cameron Dunn is back at the pg position and has great range on the perimeter, 6'3" Brandon Ferguson provides great athleticism and scoring. 6'1" Tyler Adkins gained valuable experience as a starter last season in what was his first season back from a broken leg and 3 ACL surgeries which sidelined him for 2 years. 6'2" Mikie Fyffe is solid sophomore who is strong and can score.
Cougars need to SCORE to be successful...Cougars had a tough time scoring last year and they turned the basketball over too much. Defensively will always be a Cougar strong point and should be a solid group of defenders this season.
