Plain and Simple it should be cake walk. Everyone else will play for 2nd, GRC and maybe Campbell might give them a scare.

No one in the 10th will give Mason a challenge.

Mason Co. is a very talented team, but remarks like that ofen set people up for huge letdowns, They are easily the favorite, but I would not hand it to them yet.

    Starting line up LOOKS like
    Darius Miller Senior
    Trevor Setty Senior
    Russ Middleton Junior
    Ethan King Senior
    Keith Downing Junior

Bench looks deep with experience something the royals will be able to rely on this year.
Jackson Tolle and Drew Lykins are the other remaining seniors......Tolle should see some good time this year.

Like I said before, barring any injuries, no one in the 10th is going to beat Mason this year. Not Clark, Montgomery, Campbell or anyone else.

I don't think many people thought Clark Co. had a chance last year. There are a lot of good Mason Co. fans, but some just take it too far. Like planning the Mason County party thing at Rupp last year before the region was complete. That did not go well.

I think you are wrong about not giving Clark County any respect from anyone in Mason County. You can't argue anything about how Clark County had a dandy of a team last year, they had Knowles and a bunch of kids that understood their roles. Anyone with smarts about the game of basketball respected Clark County last year and the year before that for that matter.

As far as the pre Sweet 16 preparations, don't pinn that on Mason County as a whole, that was just a few people organizing and stepping out of bounds before they thought, an exception to those that really know the game of basketball and what it takes to win on the big stage, such as the 10th region tournament. We all know its difficult year in and year out. The bit about the planning a celebration is old. When you say I don't think many people thought Clark Co. had a chance last year. You are pretty much wrong because anyone who knows basketball knew the Cardinals had a great player out on top in Knowles, had a nice post player in Jones and then the others knew their roles were just as important. Qualities that make up a great basketball team!

Here is the thing. Last year I saw Mason Co. and Clark Co both play several times. Mason Co. IMO had more talent. But Clark ended up playing better as a team and winning. That could very well happen this year. It is not smart to say no one can beat Mason in the 10th region. I know there are a lot of smart Mason Co. fans who have a grasp on reality. But some seem to not have that and it gives a wrong impression about Mason Co. fans.

No not at all, I am saying that the ones that know the game of basketball would never plan a celebration before winning the prize and their were only a few that were involved. If you read the earlier post, then you would see that Log Mountain Boy states that MANY of the Mason County fans didn't give GRC much credit, which is not true. Of course I am not the smartest of one of them all, but do know basketball, and of course remember the best team won the game and that was GRC that day. That is something that you can't understand!

Your points above are very true but if you remember the year before, Clark had more talent but in the end Mason got hot at tournament time(a time to be playing your best ball) and ended up surprising a lot around the region and won the region two years ago. Clark County was that team this past year and was the better team(oh something that some particulars on here will never understand) not including you......

Any program around the state has certain particulars about the fans and its not just Mason County, you will find that with any program where there are a few that really don't have a grasp for knowledge of what it takes to win and a few crazy ones that do certain things before thinking what if I have done something prematurely like a few did last March in Mason County.

First off, you are adding to my point with the first paragraph. That is what I am saying. Mason Co. definitly has the most talent this year, but its still hard to win a region tournament. I am not trying to take anything away from Mason coaches or anything like that, but sometimes teams do have an off night. It happens.

Secondly, I find a lot of Mason Co fans to be very knowledgable and enjoy chatting with most of you guys, but sadly people get a negative view of Mason County fans because of a select few.

Exactly what I meant to do with the first paragraph as we are on the same page. Secondly, again I think every program has a select few that has the potential of putting a negative view from others.....not just at Mason County.

He is not a Mason fan, Your crazy to think no one gave GRC a chance last year, just like your crazy to think Mason is not by far the best team in the region this year. IMO
