Harrison County 8 Dixie Heights 1

Adam Dickman threw really well for the Colonels but the score doesn't show it. He pitched 4 1/3 innings only giving up 5 runs.

Mason Fowler pitched a complete game for the Breds and the Colonels couldn't touch it only mustering up 4 hits.

The game was scoreless threw 2 innings until Sexton hits a solo homerun to lead off the 3rd.

Shane Fowler hit 2 homeruns for the Breds and absolutely killed the ball.

    Hitting for both teams:
Dixie Heights- Sexton 3-3 with 2 singles and a homerun(#2 of the season)

Harrison- Shane Fowler went 2-3 with 2 homeruns and a walk.

    .
Unless those 5 were unearned I'm not seeing how he threw "really well." Dinks and dunks?

Nice bounce back win for the Thorobreds after losing a tough one to Western Hills on Thursday.

When is Barnhorst due back? He should give them another nice starter.

I didn't see the whole game but the parts I saw, Harrison Co didn't dink and dunk, there where 2 HR, and a lot of hard hit balls. And I even missed Fowlers 1st HR.

Lex Cath won 6-1,and avenged an early 10-9 loss to Somerset. Zach Haynes, a Jr, threw for Lex Cath, he threw well, Somerset is a good hitting team. Lex Cath had 2 HRs, hit it well, but still left a lot of runs in scoring position, but its still early.
The game with Harrison Co would have been a good game, But you would not have seen Martin or Arthur on the mound, Lex Cath has 2 district games, Tues against Dunbar, who is undefeated against KY teams and Wed against Lafayette. By the end of the week, the 43 district standing should be taking shape.
